I ordered a girl alone on my wedding steampunk umbrella. The idea of painting in essence it is my only sketch and execution. And I apologize in advance for the language - I had not previously described my work before. And you should not count that here you will see a brilliant job - only the process is important.

We make stencil. In this case, these are gears and emblem of the fraternity of steel. Before cutting the stencils, we stick from the inside of two-way tapes, because the stencil must fit tightly to the material, and the surface of the umbrella is a capricious. Especially if you consider that it is possible to stick something on this surface every time on this surface and fasten at least for a while.
We glue the stencils on the surface of the umbrella and all the remaining "naked" places on which we do not need painting, we put together with painting scotch. It is necessary, because the aerosol paint is easily closed in the most secluded places and often does not want to wash it away in these unnecessary places.
That's the "miracle" turned out.
We take an aerosol acrylic paint. Not necessarily on the fabric - quite simple decorative. That in the frame paint - not very in my opinion - it raves and it is not enough enough. Better to take the IDEA. And remember that it is necessary to spray these paints only in well-ventilated rooms - I was so one day it was unpleasant.
After spraying, let me dry the paint. Breeding acrylic quickly dries.
Remove stencils.
We take a white marker suitable for fabric work. And adjust forms. You can also take a decorative acrylic and add "irregularities" of colors that will give more pleasant shades of work.
And here they got such an umbrella. It remains only to consolidate the paint - for this we need iron and gauze or just paper. Iron put on the middle temperature. If you are afraid for an umbrella - you can put it below, right up to the smallest (but never on the hottest, and then there is probability to melt the fabric umbrella or its knitting needles if they are plastic). We warm up the iron, laying between the cloth an umbrella and iron gauze or paper and stroke it within 2 minutes each site with painting from the inside. Then if there is a desire and there is no confidence that 100% fastened, you can try from the outside.
