Despite the fact that the modern market offers a mass of vases for street plants, there are masters that create original products with their own hands. As, for example, it makes an amateur to decorate his garden plot with unusual decorative objects, among which there are also spacious porridge for colors and citrus.
Many owners of private houses and dackets face the need to purchase massive vases for street landing of flowers, shrubs, citrus fruit or a whole garden of colonum-shaped fruit trees. For these purposes, high-quality and reliable tanks are required, which are withstanding adverse weather conditions and a significant weight of the Earth with the plant itself.
Naturally, such items are considerable money, but if you show fantasy, allocate time and some funds on the acquisition of materials, you can create them with your own hands. Thanks to her attendants, each of us can create decorative caspo, which will allow to attach all plants and decorate the garden plot with peculiar art objects.
Before proceeding with work, you should make sure that there are all the necessary materials available, namely:
• cement;
• sand;
• crushed foam;
• reinforcing grid (not necessarily, but with it reliable);
• water;
• Capacity for the kneading solution and the necessary tool;
• Form (any basket, bucket, etc. desired size and shape).
It should be immediately accounted for that for the convenience of working with the creation and decoration of the vase, it is better to purchase a spin-up stand, which will apply a more uniform layer of material without unnecessary televitations. For these purposes it will easily fit the stand for clearance of cakes. The only one, it is better to wrap the stretch film, and on top to put the circle of the desired diameter of a dense material (thick plywood, OSB, chipboard, etc.)
Note: In advance, you should prepare a form, for example, a plastic basket. It is highly wrapped by a stretch film, fixing the painted scotch, so as not to be stained by cement mortar, which can serve as the form endlessly.
After that, you can begin to dilute the cement mortar. To obtain a strong base, it is better to use the following proportions: 1: 2 (cement + sand). In the plastic or metal capacity, first float 2 volumes of sand, and then cement is added.
Important! Cement for the preparation of the solution should be dry and fresh, without blind lumps. Sand is better to use high-quality, without extraneous impurities (clay, earth, stones, grass, etc.). If such sand could not be found, it is necessary to carefully sift the one that is available.
After thorough mixing of dry materials, a hole is made, in which water is gradually added. The solution should be thick and viscous. The resulting mass must be applied first on the bottom of the layer form no more than 0.4-0.5 cm, and then put the reinforcing grid cut into it, which will significantly secure the design.
At this stage, you can not forget about creating holes for the flow of extra water. If you do not use the reinforcing grid, it remains only to make a recess in the right places to remove the solution. In the case of a grid, you can use covers from plastic bottles that are inserted into pre-cut holes. Only after that the bottom closes the dense layer of cement-sand mixture, so that the grid is completely closed.
In order for the porridge walls of the same thickness, the solution is better to apply 5 cm wide strips, leaving gaps of the same size. After that, it should be fixed on the walls of the reinforcing mesh segment and fill the emptiness with a solution, aligning the surface. Recall that the thickness of the layer should not exceed 0.5 cm.
After the base of the vason is ready, you need to prepare a lightweight concrete for decorating to reduce the weight of the finished product. It will take: 1 part of the cement, 1 part of the sand + 2 parts of the foam (crushed). The solution of the solution occurs similarly to the above process. The mixture should be thick and elastic so that you can form pebbles that resemble pebbles.
With the distribution of the created "river noles", each is determined by itself, but to make them better than a different size and shape to bring closer as much as possible to natural material. It should also be borne in mind that the decor should be fixed on the crude foundation so that the hitch is better and the product looked more naturally. At the same time, it is impossible to forget that at the edges of the bottom of the vason you need to make side legs, forming not very thick "sausages" from the same concrete.
After the entire side wall area is filled, you need to remove the lids from the bottom and leave the product to solidify in the shade. In dry warm weather, the material will dry literally per day, although if heat is standing, the ripple is better to cover with polyethylene or wet cloth.
When the solidification process is over, the shape of the boat can be removed and proceeded to strengthening and decorating the upper layer. To protect the concrete from the negative environmental impact, it is desirable to cover it with a special composition. They make it alone from the glue of PVA (better construction) - 2 tbsp. l, one glass of water and cement, which is added so much to make a solution resembling a liquid sour cream. This mixture is carefully covered with kashpo from all sides and give time to dry.
After that, the product can be sent to the prepared place or more attach a little effort and to decorate with the help of the facade acrylic paint. Although there will be more effectively to look at several shades, which can be applied in chaotic order, and then you can all cover with more neutral color, barring the main tone.
Upon completion of the creative process and after the complete drying of the masterpiece, all surfaces (and internal too) better reveal with a transparent acrylic varnish, which will protect from burnout and protect the product from water.
