The general rule of successful proportions is a golden cross section or a ratio of 1 to 1.618. If you do not delve into mathematics, it is proportions that are everywhere in nature. This is the shape of the leaves on the trees, and the spiral of the shells, and the proportions of the human face.
If you simplify, then the closer something to the golden section, the more attractive we find it. The golden cross section intuitively used artists and sculptors long before it got its name. So why don't we use it when thinking about your outfits?
Golden section when creating images
Simple words, the ratio 1 to 1 (or 1/2 + 1/2) is less attractive than the ratio of 1 to 2 (or 1/3 + 2/3). How to use this knowledge in relation to the formation of images? Let's look at the examples.
