(Offer "Lubash and Company")
"Today we will present a master class on painting furniture imitating old boards. The idea of creating furniture from old boards is not Nova. But the appropriate material is not always easy to get, and the skill of creating furniture can not boast everything. Therefore, we offer a simpler way to create such furniture. .
For today's master class, we will need:
-Polka (or any other furniture that is lucky to transform);
-Acrylic paints;
-Sandpaper;
-Bust;
-Linear;
-Treaps;
-Furniture for jeans,
-A hammer;
-Linseed oil;
-Screwdriver.
Getting to work!
To begin with the surface with coarse sandpaper.
Careless scratches are welcome. Next, with the help of a soft cloth, remove all wood dust.
Using a ruler and pencil, we divide the decorated surface on the smooth strip.
In our case, these are three identical smooth in length, and many different widths.
It turns out something like unequal brickwork.
We try to repeat the same lines and from the inside, as the regiment will be viewed
from all sides.
With a screwdriver, I deepened furrows for relief.
It is very important to use convenient tools, unfortunately all my rules were or longer
or shorter than the inner side of the shelf, and here I first reversed the enormous works
At the university red diploma! :-)
Now proceed to the most interesting! Color rectangles so that the feeling has been created,
that these are truly different doors, not a single board.
For the decor, we decided to use jeans accessories. It will give the surface more kind
and expensive view.
Thin brush we remove the light color of wood in the recesses.
The same brush is drawing cracks on the boards.
Decorating inscriptions. Presumably, the regiment is made not from simple old boards, but from those
which used to be something, such as a drawer, or a fence. And on such boards, something was written.
We deliberately did so that the inscriptions are broken, it also creates a feeling
Separate fragments.
At the very end we soaked the shelf with linseed oil.
The oil was perfectly in the wood due to numerous scratches and furrows. After an hour, the fat shine left.
We deliberately did not become varnished to avoid glitter. The surface does not face damage completely. But those who wish can also cover everything with varnish.
It remains only to hang our creation on the wall!
Thank you all for your attention! We wish inspiration and creative enthusiasm! "
