British designer Gavin Manro calls the technology of "Organic 3D-printing using air, soil and the sun as source materials".
To obtain, for example, a chair of the right shape, trees regularly cut and direct branches on the right side using a frame. Some branches in the growth process are connected to get the right form.
Then the trunk takes time to thicken and ripening, after which the material is removed from the frame and processed. Of course, such a process takes time, but the result is a unique furniture from a solid piece of wood, while maintaining its natural structure and form.
The process of growing chair takes from four to eight years, depending on the wood used. The first Full Grown chairs will grow next year, and lamps and frames should be ready for the summer.
Chairs are available for reservation at a price of 2500 pounds sterling, and the lamps can be purchased for 1500 pounds.
Price, of course, not at all budget, but such furniture does not need additional workers or robots for assembly
