A year ago came across your site and since then I attend it regularly. Not one idea has learned, somewhere confirmed its own ideas, in addition, it is always very interesting to watch and read your blogs.
I thought for a long time that I would definitely create a blog at the end of the repair, the purpose of which is to share experiences, new ideas that, I hope someone will help, as well as I once helped your ideas and experience. Tips and recommendations with gratitude to accept.
I live in Kazakhstan, in the beautiful city - Astana. Apartment I bought two years ago in the house under construction (we have it called a share participation), the house was commissioned in December last year. Area - 44m2. As a result of redevelopment, one-week turned out. Repairs took a total of three months. Little finishes and furniture remained.
I would like to start your blog from the hallfields, in which it was decided to install the lining and paint it with the dairy paint brought from abroad. On top of the paint, the wax with the effect effect was applied.
Lining, planted on liquid nails, in some places nailed nails.
First layer of paint and shelf for hats
Application of ancient wax
The paint impressed the simplicity of preparation and application, and the result. Recommended for wooden surfaces, although with the addition of the binder component, can be applied to less porous surfaces.
Pastel color, very tender and beautiful. On the Internet, the mass of information about what is the paint and what can be done with it. I highly recommend that Country lovers, Provence.
The console table was made from two balusters themselves (also painted dairy paint of the same manufacturer) and three pine boards purchased in the furniture workshop.
The legs after painting were treated with the same wax, the boards - several layers of veil.
View from below
Considering the size of the hallfields, the narrow console table became the only optimal option. By the way, the table is functional, thanks to the small shelf below.
Mirror in the store for fabulous money! But I perfectly fit into my carcause.
I thought for several days to acquire this beauty, but in the end, at the arrival of my young man, we decided to create a replica with our own hands: I ordered a wooden frame in the same furniture workshop, bought wooden decorative elements, painted two contrasting layers all the same dairy paint, shed, caused varnish, and a bit of the eagle wax.
Blue color - basic
Application of wax
It remains only to hang
The wall above the lining periodically decorated with temporary paintings and posters. In this photo, the pictures made in the technique of appliqués from banana peel, bought on the beach in Zanzibar. So far I have not decided what to do with this wall, but there is an idea to get the whole wall with paintings and posters (and maybe even a small art installation) of different sizes and colors, but in one tonality. What do you advise?
The gap between the edge of the lining and the door jacket closes with a wooden plank.
As you probably noticed, both shields are closed in this photo. The doors were made of plywood covers for wine boxes (two wine boxes were charged in the wines store, one more - at mom), painted, treated with wax, drawing and the inscription left unburned. Pens purchased in the beautiful Indian town Udaipur. By the way, the same as the Marysko respected user (hello to you).
Bench made from the remaining oak balusters and pine boards. Decorated the same as the console opposite.
Frame for poster Rolling Stones was originally brown, repainted in bright pink ..
The shelf for hats imperceptibly turned into a shelf for souvenirs brought from overseas countries.
I plan to replace the available standard hooks on massive hooks stylized under the antiquity ordered from Amazon.
I can post a photo later. And also, add a couple of hooks at the level below, for bags.
Plinth is planned white and high.
Lastra have not yet hung, beautiful Turkish chandelier is waiting for his turn.
At this end, thanks for your attention, if there are questions, I will answer them with pleasure.
