Following my step-by-step instructions, you can give your calendar any kind: Decorate the houses with gift paper, stickers, decorative braid or sticky ribbon - than pleased that, in your opinion, is associated with New Year or Christmas theme. Materials and tools

Stationery knife (I used a scalpel);
13 sheets of white cardboard A4 density of 90 g / cm;

Foil paper gold, copper and bronze shades;

stickers in the form of circles or squares of black and gold colors;

Sweets or small gifts that can be put inside the houses;

Little figures of trees, sequins, artificial snow or other decorative elements from which you can collect a winter landscape.

Step 1. For houses, you will need templates of four different types of buildings (you will find at the end of the master class). Each template can be used to create your own sample house. You just need to do 31 houses to count the days before the new year, or 25 - if you want to celebrate Catholic Christmas. Determine the nature of the construction and the color of the crafts you have to do.

Step 2. Move the pattern of the template for each house. With the help of a scalpel, cut the houses on the bold line. Now it is your own templates. Carefully transfer the folding lines to the cardboard or make it using imperceptible punctures, and then with the help of a scalpel and metal ruler cut down each house by contour. Do not forget to cut through a small gap, where the tongue closing the house will be inserted.

Step 3. Take each of the carved houses and gently bend inside the breakdown in the fold. To make them smooth, I use a metal ruler and a spoon, which I make a fusion line.

Step 4. So that all the bends are clear, take care of each of the allowances. And again you will come in handy a metal spoon.

Step 5. Now you are ready for the next step: decorating the inner surface of the house. Here you can give the will of your fantasy: use markers, paint or stencils - everything you can find at hand. A variety of finishes will give the village of a special charm, and the New Year's Advent calendar for children will turn out simply irresistible!

Step 6. To quickly and clean the inner surface, you can use spray with metallized paint. Put your house on an unnecessary piece of paper and spray the selected color (I took a copper tint).

Remember what to do it in a well-ventilated room. Dry the workpiece. Once again, go through the bends and turn over.

Step 7. Finally, it is time to do the appearance of our houses. Cut the small rows of circles, rhombuses or semicircles with one or two sides of the workpiece so that it looks like the windows.

Using patterns as a sample, cut out several sides of metallized paper to decorate the houses. Square and rectangular sides can be measured immediately on metal paper. Their dimensions are 40x40 mm and 40x80 mm, respectively. Cut them and glue to the workpiece with the help of adhesive spray. If your decorative finish will occupy the two sides of the house, then first transfer the fold line to it, and only then glue the decor to the house. Scroll your blanks for houses and dry them.

And do not forget about the New Year calendar: you need to glue the numbers on the facade of each house!

Step 8. Now the house must be collected. At the curved areas, glue the bilateral scotch pieces and assemble the house according to the instructions.

Step 9. Gently go through all the lines, thoroughly gluing all the areas of the house. With the help of a spoon, you can press all parts of the crafts from the inside so that they are better glued.

Step 10. Now that the master class is almost completed, and all the houses are ready, you can play, folding sweets and advent calendar gifts ...

You can fill the houses with sweets, marshmallows, or small valuable things, for example, shells written on a piece of paper with jokes, rubber, small toys and chocolate coins - mass capabilities! You can come up with other ideas. If you want to add a highlight surprise, wrap each of them also into crispy tracing.

If the gifts are too large for the houses, then you can put a small candy inside, which is then exchanged for a toy. Or increase the templates themselves, playing with the size of houses and the village itself.

Step 11. As soon as you finish masked the houses, you will begin this adventure - they will need to be placed so that the real New Year village will be. Special winter mood creates small figures of trees - lay them on your calendar. Final strokes can be applied, splashing sparkles or artificial snow. The main thing is to observe the measure!

Step 12. Advent calendar do it yourself for children ready! Start the countdown, recalling the first house on December 1! Until the new year, only 30 days left now!
