Cut into order in the nursery, hallway or on the balcony - easy.
To defeat the mess in the nursery, you will need quite a bit: three wooden boxes (we took the "Kanagglyig" in IKEA), furniture shield, boards and pair of screws. And after a couple of hours, you have a convenient bench from the boxes and practical storage. Special skills or tools will not need (well, only a good screwdriver). If there is no nursery in the house, then such a chest is useful for storing shoes and things in the hallway, on the terrace or balcony.
The basis of our crafts is three wooden box. Each module size with a regular box for wine will have a storage space under the lid seat. And the lid on the piano loop can be easily folded to get things.
We took the laminated Paneru - the chest-bench can be put on the balcony and the terrace. If you do not need "moisture protection", use the usual Phaneur.
You will need:
- Three wooden boxes "Kanagglyig", Ikea (we took boxes of 46x31x25 cm for 699 rubles, but you can use smaller boxes);
- Surface for seating: plywood sheet 95x48 cm;
- Base: two boards of 91x10 cm size, three 43x10 cm boards; cutting board 95 cm;
- screws;
- piano loop 90 cm (or 60 cm).
Step 1. Do the foundation
We chose the base height of 10 cm. This is a convenient height for the bench, it provides stability of the design. Another plus - if you put such a bench on the country terrace, the base will protect the untreated pine drawers from contact with the ground or wet floor of the terrace.
On long boards, drill holes, parts connect with each other by screws, as shown in the previous photo.
Tip: Fix the details at least two screws on each side.
Step 2. Complete drawers to the base
When the base is ready, we put three boxes on it and screw the screws.
Step 3. Freak lid
Fix the lid with a piano loop. You can use special hinges for chests. They are reliable, but in contrast to the piano loop are visible on the upper side of the lid. The piano hinges are of different lengths and widths. The best option is the option equal to the chest length.
First screw the loop on the wooden bar. On the edge of the plywood sheet, mark the appropriate places, drill holes and attach a loop to the lid.
Put the lid from plywood on the design, screw to the wooden bar to the boxes from the inside of the bench.
At the end of the work, pass the sandpaper on the edge of the surface for the seating.
Bench-chemth is ready - it remains to fill it with toys, shoes or garden tools.
