Want an original, beautiful, and even a very simple skirt with which even the perfect newcomer will cope? Then this skirt is exactly for you! And yes, on her tailoring really needed only 5-10 minutes.
You will need:
- fabric (tissue consumption - 125 cm with width of 145-150cm, midi length);
- glue cobweb;
- rubber;
- Sewing supplies
There is absolutely any material for this skirt, in our case it is French knitwear. The cut of the tissue of the required size is folded in four, align all the edges well. Then, from the central angle, we measure 1/4 on the size of the waist, if the fabric is elastic, and 1/4 of the breast size - if not.
Measure the distance required for the waist, then you can count. The belt in our case is completely on the rubber band. Therefore, we make a cut in the width of the gum, we have 7 cm. Mimicing, cutting cloth, leaving only the ledge for the belt. We also make a rounded slice at the top of the belt, retreating down literally 2 cm and spending a diagonal cut. If the fabric is uneven, compare the edges.
That's all, the pattern is ready, you can move to the assembly of the skirt. We deploy the resulting workpiece and flash the upper side parts, stitching them in pairs. The central part does not touch yet, this is a waist.
Then they cross the side sections of the future skirt in pairwise.
Bottom processing with a wide bending of 5 cm on overlock, pre-fixing the cloth with a glue cobweb. In addition, thanks to the adhesive strip, the skirt is well holding the form. If your fabric is very thin, then it is necessary to use Flizelin.
Now the waist is sewn elastic and skirt ready! If you do not want an elastic band, then you can entertain zipper.
If desired, the lateral folds of the finished skirt can be turned into pockets. To do this, you only need to fix them from above near the belt and lay the line, separating the inner cavity of the pocket.
And such a skirt can be the bottom of any dresses, it will only be left to make the top!
