Having the remains of yarn, you can make a warm soft rug with a long pile. Below are two different ways. You can use any scheme for embroidery and get a rug with an original pattern.
I needed:
- Ribbons of green and red colors
- Fabric flaps for the base and substrate
- Cardboard for blanks
Two ovals were filled from the substrate and the flap.
Next, the most "interesting" - the manufacture of blanks. For this, from the cardboard, I cut two strips width equal to the length of the future pile, - I have 3 cm.
I put the stripes with each other and wind on them thread so that each motility fits tightly to the previous one.
As a result, it turns out such a strip.
Cut the thread and wash our workpiece by hand, capturing every motility. A needle is trying to enter as close as possible to the edge.
We push the stripes carefully and cut the thread along the workpiece on the side opposite to the one that we have just groveled.
Press the resulting fringe strip in the perimeter of our rug exactly in the middle of the workpiece.
I thus did the workpiece and adjusted them to the base, moving from the edge to the center. Of the red threads, the heart is also performed in the same way, pre-outwards the contours of the future pattern ...
