The frame of the authorship of the artist Darryl Coke, which he calls Fusion Frames, say "no" conventions and compromises in art; They are a real avant-garde of our time!
When working on each frame, Darryl conducted a clock in the forest in Central Oregon to find a suitable branch, and then gently "enters" it into the frame structure. Darryl tried many different types of wood; Each of his creation is unique due to a thorough selection of materials.
The first step to the creation of Fusion Frame is the search for the branch, the root of the tree or the framework from which a new product will begin. Darryl especially loves branches with "individual features" - interesting processes or notes.
Almost immediately, finding a frame or branch, Darryl understands exactly how to use them, and begins to look for them a "couple", which could "enter them into the dialogue." After the couple is located, work begins.
The branch from the forest needs to be washed, disinfected and dry before use. Sometimes the frame must be processed in the same way if it was not kept carefully for many years.
Finally, the individual design is being developed and embodied for each project.
The selection of processing techniques includes long hours of painstaking work and patience - the more generously they are rewarded later!
Based on the above mentioned, the present work of art is created. Each work has its own individual characteristics - and nevertheless, Darryl's style is recognizable.
The stories of each unit of installation merge together, forming a common story. Mixed and rough texture of wood are reunited with decorations and an ornament of an ancient frame.
Darryl says he always appreciated the art and his ability to wake up emotions and cause active actions. Imagination, opinion and actions of a person can be captured in art - and it fascinates.
Art is a "reflection" of a person, how he thinks and feels. Darryl says that it is aware of the value of all art styles, but he especially like surrealism.
Especially in surrealism it fascinates the invasion of the unrealistic real and the opportunity to combine completely dissimilar things. That is what it displays in Fusion Frame.
Each Fusion Frame is a combination of treated tree and an exquisite picture frame, whose union generates a new story and new features.
The same work people can perceive completely differently. "In art, it is always," says Darryl.
Darryl says he is glad that people can enjoy what he is doing. In his passion, reject the border, he fully gives the will to his imagination in creativity. His works "go beyond" - literally. Just look at these breaks of the branch broken line.
