For the first time I came close to the gypsum decor in Paris. There, on one of the shelves of small cozy shops on the rivoli, I saw a lot of beauty: from cute baubles before the works of art. But my glance clinched for the delightful gypsum decor in the form of a flower and stunning candlesticks in the form of blossomed roses.
My modest budget gave me the opportunity to fork out only one such a gypsum rose. And after five months, when my husband and I bought materials for the repair of the ceiling in the living room, in one of the departments of the store I saw the gypsum. And then I was painted the idea!

And why not create the most stylish flowers from the gypsum. I will not keep intrigue and torturing the waiting for a magic recipe - the method is simple to disgrace. For the foundation, dry or artificial flowers are needed, which need to be omitted into the gypsum solution, and then dry. The process is a bit time-consuming, but the result will definitely please.
Due to the fact that the gypsum is environmentally friendly and absolutely harmless to humans, in which there is no slightest toxicity, even a child can cope with such work. For example, my daughter Maria is now very fascinated by such a kind of needlework.
Editorial "So simple!" I will note that the smaller the gypsum you use, the more natural it will look like a product. And in the preparation of colors, pay attention to the shape and edge of the petals of the future plaster decor.
- As you can see, you can use absolutely any varieties of colors and even inflorescences. And you can also lower the plastic fruit into the solution. If you wish, you can then paint in the gold color.

- As you already understood, nothing complicated in the process of manufacturing such a decor. But you just see how he looks sophisticated!

- If you do not like the resulting look of the flower, you can cite it with paints, then let the plaster dry, and then with a lacquer. I really like to use a mixture of gold and pink paint.

Manufacture
- You will need various plastic flowers. One condition - the flowers must be clean.
- The flower chosen by you for the future decor needs to be disassembled. Namely: pull out the core and petiole from it, and then flash or glue the base so that the flower does not break up.
- Now go to the preparation of a gypsum solution. To do this, mix 1 cup of water with 3 cups of plaster so that the solution is in the end, the consistency resembles sour cream. Pay attention: Gypsum is poured into water, and not vice versa.
And do not forget that you need to constantly stir the solution, and it is generally fast. Gypsum grabs almost instantly. But this is the only inconvenience. Here you just need a skill.
After making the solution, we lower the flower into it. Then I enjoy it and repeat the procedure again two.
