I want to publish a small story about one very useful thing, which is undeservedly forgotten. Last year I met Swweyk, and since then, with a manually sewing without it, like without hands.
Sewing machines appeared only in the second half of the 19th century. Until that time, all sewed manually.
For the convenience of sewing, a special device was used - Swiss.
Swiss consists of a wooden base - a dona with a vertical column (neck), on which a soft pad of a fabric is firmly attached.
