I understand perfectly well that for most buyers it is more important that the light bulb has worked for a long time, and not any parameters.

The reasons for the failure of the lamps are mostly two - the burnout of the LEDs and the failure of condensers.

If the lamp power is reduced by a third, the life of the LED will increase significantly (of course, the brightness of the lamp will decrease). We will deal with this.

In the cheapest lamps are used very bad capacitors that do not live and years. There are no meaning to modify such lamps - they still will not live anyway.

For the modification, the lamps of the average price segment are best fit (there is a chance that there is better condensers). Power The higher the better (after all, after it is reduced, the lamp should shine quite brightly). Optimal lamps for 15 watts. Of course, it is better to take a lamp with a pulse driver, which have a built-in stabilizer and they shine equally brightly at any network voltage.

There are two types of lamps design - the traditional two-permanent (inside the case the driver board, over it is a round board with LEDs) and a single-board (the driver is located directly on the board with LEDs, and the capacitors are soldered to this card behind). For a simple and fast modification, you need a lamp with a union design.

From my stock, I found lamps, ideally suitable for alteration - Navigator NLL-A60-15-230-4K-E27 with a release date 0419 (I hope that modern lamps of this type are the same design). This lamp has a real power of 13.66 W, gives 1210 lm of light, has a CRI color rendition index (RA) 83, she has no pulsation completely. The lamp is equipped with a pulsed driver. Such lamps can be found for sale at a price of 120 rubles.

Of course, you can take a model with a warm light of the NLL-A60-15-230-2.7k-E27.

First of all, remove the cap. This lamp can simply take off his hand (a great effort will be required). Under the hood one fee. It is interested in us R1 and R2 resistors, they set the LED current.

Several important comments:

- Only new light bulbs are suitable for modification (if the lamp works for a long time, the degradation of LEDs has already begun and it will not stop);

- when rewriting you lose the warranty on the lamp (however, if the lamp still fails and you stick to the plane, no one will understand that you are in the resistor broken there);

- Do not forget that when the lamp is included in the network, there is a dangerous voltage on the board.
