To create Icons, Vladimir Anatolyevich uses a unique author's technique Macrame-collage that has no analogues in the world. Each of the works of the master includes millions of nodules tied manually, without the use of any technical means.
This is how the author describes his unique method: "This technique is called" novel weaving Macrame-collage using some types of man-made fabrics. " I invented the man-made fabrics and patented himself. In the rizas, the robes of saints I use a peculiar fabric, which is composed of semi-flyrome linen threads without transverse fastening. It was proposed to be offended there torsing gold, silver threads there - I am categorically against it. My idea is to create a flax what our ancestors created, and that it strives in the temples in the decoration of altars, icons decorated with gold silver, expensive stones.
I work without special devices - without hook, spokes. Each novel is tied manually. The width of the thread fluctuates from 0.5-2 mm. The pattern is imposed on these threads and is mounted using the Macrame-Collage technique. Then the man-made fabric is used, which I create - show fabrics in motion (folds, falda) so that they do not simply lay one-dimensional in the plane, but were in motion. The fabric must be moisturized, and if you miss the moment, it will spread to semi-flyrometer strings and nothing will happen. Lick of the Lord or Saint is written on canvas oil. That is, only natural materials are used in icons. After the disease (I suffered a stroke), our Crimean artist helps me, although I did everything myself before the disease. In her first works I tried even the faces to perform Macrame technique. But it came to the conclusion that the facial should be written, but the salary - how much: silver, gold. In my case, it is exclusively Len. It is associated for me with Orthodoxy: the same simple, clean, affordable, durable forever. Our ancestors went to linen clothes, Len always accompanied our story. Somehow considered the number of novels per 1 dm. sq. It turns out that in each work of 40 by 50 cm - from 1 to 1.5 million nodules tied manually! One such icon takes 3-6 months.
