I bring to your attention one of the options for round textile baskets that can be sewed quickly and easily, having a minimum of materials at hand. The charm of such baskets lies not only in the simplicity of their manufacture, but also in the convenience of using them. Their function is to serve a storage for trifles and decorate homemade corners or a place for creativity. Such baskets can be rightfully attributed to the category "it can each!".
For one basket, we will need:
1) Sewing machine - 1pc.
2) Cutting fabric 20 cm on the front side and 20 cm on the involnery, total - 2 pcs
3) laying material (seal) - 20 cm - 1 pc
4) Baika 3-4 cm width and 40 cm long - 1 pc
5) Fit color threads
6) needles, scissors
7) Round template with a diameter of 16-20 cm (or any other diameter at your discretion)
8) Most importantly - desire to roast.
Often, I begin a new project with a test sample of the product, and if the pilot version suits me, I turn to the manufacture of the desired product. I did this and this time.
1. To begin with, we are determined with the tissues. I chose those who were at hand. You can take those you like more.
2. Cooking round templates. We simplify the search process: we go to the kitchen and choose suitable donors. In our case, this is a lid and a saucer with a diameter of 15-16 cm.
3. Select the seal. You can use a subtle synthetic trumpet or cotton batting. For trial samples, I used cotton nonwoven material with a thickness of 2 mm, and simply speaking - import rolled cotton wipes, which are at hand in the same kitchen. The seal is needed to give the shape and stiffness of our future basket.
4. We take a round pattern and cut the same details on it. The same details are top, bottom and seal.
In this example, the diameter of the circle is 15 cm.
5. We spoil all three details:
6. Optionally, we do stitch, but this stage is not required. You can immediately move to clause 8. I make a stitch in a habit, it turns out stronger and as interesting. For stitches, I chose the simplest line "Ovea", which is practically on any sewing machine and will not deliver trouble when performing.
7. It turns out such a billet.
I made two trial samples and used threads of different colors. In the photo at the bottom of the line more visual.
8. At a distance of 5 mm from the edge, we make a line with a stitch length of 4-5 mm. I replaced the upper thread on a stronger. In the future, I will pull it, climbing the edge, and it is important that the thread accidentally cut off when tensioning.
9. We scare the edge. I made an assembly of "on the eyes", until it turned out such a puzzy basket. Threads do not cut off just in case - suddenly want to make the neck wider or already.
10. We are preparing a beak, which we will edit the edge of the baskets. Crying faces not necessarily in oblique. I took a strip of fabric 4 cm width and about 30-40 cm long, a little longer than the neck for edging.
11. Configure Baik to the neck from the front side. (At this photo attentive craftswomen can notice a mistake - Beyk is shooting to the wrong way ... thought it happened :)
12. Small Hint, that is, the hint. On small products, such as our basket, it is difficult to accurately connect the edges of the faucet by step. Therefore, I make it easier - the beginning of the Beach beyond the inside of 1 cm and start the line. Reaching to the end, admonish a spare 1 cm of bays over the bend and the remaining tail cut off.
13. The edge of the beaks in the hands, secret seam, starting with the fastening of the transverse sink on Baik.
14. And here is the result - two babies baskets.
15. The photo visually increasing the size. Using a circle with a diameter of 15 cm for an orange basket and 16.5 cm for blue, I got a basket with a diameter of the upper part of 8-10 cm. The basket height is about 4-5 cm.
15. Such baskets I use for needlework trifles that are needed at hand when performing the next project.
16. Test samples sewed in order to stretch. In fact, I needed two red baskets, a little more sized. They also managed to fame, and they sewed very quickly, because the technology was already worked out and the hands did everything themselves.
17. Note, on one basket I made a stitch, and on the second - no. While both are good and comfortable.
I plan to make a few more baskets, different colors and sizes so that you can collect like a nesting.
