The birth of a Pavlovoposad handkerchief occurred at the end of the 17th century, thanks to Russian masters. Soon the handkerchief not only became the most popular headdress of Russian beauties, but also acquired the unlawful status of the "business card of our country", received worldwide fame. In addition to the practical application, Pavlovoposad's scarves have always possessed an undoubted aesthetic value.
The proofer is considered a remotion - a bleached linen towel decorated with embroidery, which since ancient times in Russia, covered their heads.
