The customer and wonderful mother Greta Garbo shared his way to produce a rug with a long pile of yarn.
To create a rug from threads, it took her:
- base for the rug
- cardboard sheet,
- Sewing supplies,
-- sewing machine,
- sharp scissors
- Marker for drawing a picture to the base - in our case - the heart.
The result justified myself, Greta writes: "I was not even very upset that I worked on it for almost two months, because I was pleased with the result: the son began to get tread on him with a satisfied face - the rug turned out to be soft and pleasant."
What does the manufacturer of the rug with a long pile of yarn residue begins?
Step 1 . Conduct the revision of the remnants of threads, prepare cardboard and scissors and come up with a drawing of the future rug. Here it is a red heart on a green background.
Step 2. . Decide on the basis. You can take a dense fabric for the substrate or flash thin in several layers.
Step 3. . Decide on the length of the future pile. Here the strip width is equal to the length of the waist of the future rug = 3 cm. Cut 2 cardboard strips.

Step 6. . We stitched manually from one edge our winding, flushing each round. We pave the seam at the very edge.
Step 8. . Cut the thread from the opposite side. Mastered so that they do not crumble in your hands.
Step 9. . Compress the resulting fringe with the basis, according to your drawing. Greta rocked from the edges around the perimeter to the center. Very similar way to manufacture the rug use here when they make a bathroom mat from a terry towel
