New Year and Smell Citrus - Favorite Association with Childhood!
This year, my Christmas tree dressed in the style of Country. In general, decorated the Christmas tree to all that turned up at hand. And, although oranges with tangerines and nearby were not standing with the village (in any case, in our latitudes), they, too, "harvest". As my child joked, overlooking the result: "Only sausages are missing on it, everything else is already" :))
But without Handmade in any way, so I decided to make decorations from citrus:
Cut the orange, lemon and lime (it would be good and graphrut, but I did not turn it out) thin slices. I cut 0.5 cm first batch and threw the result in the trash. You need to cut 2-3 mm slices, then during drying they do not lose color and are obtained by translucent. We lay out on paper for baking, shift chili peppers and put the oven for the night (temperature of 60 degrees).
They got completely dry slices.
The clothespins were painted with acrylic and "aged" by a manganese:
And then everything is creative for everything as a soul wishes and tie a straw:

On this Christmas tree and balls need rustic. To do this, in transparent balls replaced tinsel on the straw (I think that you can replace the thick yarn, it should also be wondering).
