After watching various restorations and alterations of furniture, we decided on a feat, namely, the global alteration of one furniture element in another. We share a photo report in which you will see the original picture, the main points of work, as well as the final result.
What they were doing:
1. Have disassembled two books, scuffing their legs.
2. The second wardrobe sawed exactly in half and replaced all overlays.
3. As for the paint, Tikkurila Empire was used. They decided not to bother with the soil, only slightly sandwiched and degrees the surface.
4. For table tops, special oil Gappa was used.
5. With legs, and more specifically with their compound, it turned out the most difficult. We bought a timber than 50x50mm, which was wrinkled and rounded the resulting billets with a mill.
