New - well forgotten old (or inadvertent). Many in the late 80s - early 90s, (and not only), cooked jeans and boiled underwear. But, in my memory, it was boiled only white and from natural fabrics, and if at least 1% of synthetic components came across the fabric - almost "write", because Smoothed then such a fabric - it is possible, but very long and mutually. I propose to use this feature - folds and races on synthetic tissues are quite firmly "brewed". The color of the fabric has not changed - just photos are made with different lighting.

1. Fabric (567x425, 120KB)

What will take:

Synthetic chiffon (I think, and any other type of fabric is suitable, if only it was with / out synthetics)

Shopping soap - a small piece

Vinegar table, usual, 9% - ½ st.

Strong, ideally - Kapron threads (white! Or in the color of the fabric)

The container in which we boil fabric, and water.

Since I, because of the features, cut the future product, it was necessary to make part of the fabric with stupid along, part - across - I immediately cut the cloth into two parts.

I recommend it to immediately decide where you will have the bottom edge of the product (or other bending, for example, on the sleeves) - and add the edge. Then, on the finished stiff chiffon, the swinds laid the same folds, like all the cloth. In the other case, when shearing fabrics after cooking - ugly waves will go at the bottom (and the "product's graphicness" will endure).

I processed the free edge of the future product "Moscow seam".

So, proceed to the preparation of the fabric.

We collect the edge of the fabric with small harmonica. At this stage, the main thing - try to capture only the most minimal edge of the fabric, since after cooking there may be untidy transverse chances. This cloth I needed to "compress" across, respectively, in the harmonica, I collected the edge.

Next, we fix our harmonic. If there is no need to make this edge carefully, firmly wrap the edge part with threads (I only had black threads at hand - and after cooking they left our trails). Similarly, we do with the second, opposite edge of the fabric.

If the accuracy is still required (as in the case of the already submissive edge - fix the harmonica is no longer threads, but neatly "pellene" by the strip of the same tissue (you can cut off part of the edge). Just as in the first case, we do so with both opposite edges.

We retreating centimeters of 40-50 from the leaf (as it is more convenient), we again fold the fabric by the accordion, but do not tie (remember about extra transverse chances that have nothing). We begin to turn the compressed fabric in one direction - the smallest will be the folds, in the future, the fabric will turn out. So we do along the entire length. Do not be afraid that for the first time you will regret that you have not 8 hands - you must take it.

In fact, there are 2 options.

1. The rolled sausage will begin to fit into the curls itself, then simply keep them until we twist all the cloth. Fix all the "tangle", chaotic winding threads.

2. Initially control the twist, so that it is not cooled by rings, and roll it into the harness, as shown in the photo below. The edges secure threads (on top of the harmonica lines). Collapse harness rings and fix, chaotic winding threads.

It was easier for me to hang fabric on a hook with clip, twist the length, fold in half and roll all the twist in the harness. Ends secure thread.

We put the prepared fabric into the container in which we will cook. Add a piece of soap, ½ tbsp. vinegar, fill with water (water or immediately do not spare, or then, in the process, pour boiling water) and let it stand for 10 minutes, so that the fabric wet through and all air bubbles.

We put on the middle fire. I will cook (in order for sure) about 1-1.5 hours, but I think that you can and less. Periodically neatly stir the spoon, so that the chiffon is not adilent to the saucepan. If necessary, we fill the water.

After time, we drain the broth)))). Pour chiffon with cold water (as when cooking eggs). We give cool, we remove all the scopes, turn the cloth, carefully rolling and dry.
