Repair can be performed in different ways - to invest a lot of money and get a chic layout or ... to do without a limited budget and get the same thing! And all this is quite realistic even without the participation of the designer, whose services also cost money.
Natalia Chuvinova removed the usual Khrushchev, which stood unchanged since the 90s. Having in it a small cosmetic repairs, she designed the space in Scandinavian style on their own.
Let's see how she came out.
Repairs
Love for European design from Natalia since childhood, so for the removal she chose the simple housing of past years - it was best suited for restoration work. Nothing global was originally planned: only "cosmetics" and the Scandinavian decor.
Having agreed with the owner, the girl in just six months completely transformed the apartment. The niche of the 90s was eliminated, and the vacant space was connected to the corridor.
Finish
For the beginning, the former linoleum was removed, the wooden boards were sawned and painted the budget paint Dufa white shade. True, the cracks have already begun to emerge, but for style in the spirit of Scandinavia it is not critical.
Walls with a ceiling was separated by a Dulux water-emulsion. Natalia wanted to achieve the "Stockholm White" interior, so I had to tinker with a manual tinting at home.
In the bathroom, the holes in the walls were "closed" with putty, and also fixed the stovered tile. Borastapeter wallpaper with a geometric pattern shot onto one wall and the hallway.
In fact, the bathroom became the only part of the Khrushchev, where dark shades dominate - the rest of the premises are made in neutral tones with light accents.
Balcony and storage system
An open-type tiny balcony was left as it is, taking pre-cleaned from the rubble. Now this is an excellent place to relax, decorated with multi-colored Chinese lanterns, which are glowing in the dark.
The full-fledged storage system decided not to do, because the main mass of things Natalia stores on the shelves and hangers in the corridor and the bedroom. Seasonal accessories as unnecessary sent to the mezzanine, and domestic products put in the cabinet in the living room.
Furniture and decor
New furniture did not have to buy, because Most of the girl brought from parents, and only some things bought in Ikea. The bed she designed from wooden pallet, the rest of the interior items acquired a couple of thousand rubles.
Bright posters from print marketers and foreign sites are hung on the walls, plus the work of Natalia itself. Very many ceramic porridge with succulents and other plants that are noticeably revived by space.
The lamp environment makes candles, garlands on windows and powder textiles - all this was found in Ikea and H & M Home. Following the main principles of the Scandinavian style, the customer decided to completely abandon the curtains - good, the windows are hidden behind the trees and come out in a quiet courtyard.
The most unusual accessory includes a cracked mirror in the bedroom, which accidentally crushed workers when installing the chest. He was made a kind of adhesion of the apartment and did not throw out.
Interesting accents are in the corridor - a curtain eaves from IKEA re-reunimized in a hanger for clothes. The entrance door is painted in graphite color, and the resulting coating allows you to draw something over. All this adds the interior of the identity.
