About the mirror
Many times I was asked in the magazine how I make mirrors.
I answered. But I did not have enough time to describe this process in more detail and with pictures.
This masterclass was made for the journal "Peasant woman" and will be released in the March issue.

Need to:
Ikeev mirror in a wooden frame,
several napkins
Poppercles or Jovi Pasta
wool
PVA glue,
Glue "Moment"
brushes,
acrylic paints,
Slim gold or silver cord or braid
one.
Pencil outlining drawing. Popperkel or more affordable jovi closes the mirror, giving it a circle form. In this case, the jovi paste was used. We are waiting for the pasta to dry (half a day - day, depending on the humidity in the house).

We cut the napkins on thin strips. Each strip twist to the harness (I do not know how to accurately designate, but simply twist a thin strip of the napkins, like a thread from yarn). Then pour glue PVA into a small bowl. Welcome flagella in the glue and lay out the contour of the picture. It turns out a white embossed pattern.
(This is so terrible with an old glass inkwell, in which I pour glue)

After this drawing is trying, we take cotton. We are divided into small thin layers. Then, with the help of brushes and glue, PVA gently glue the cotton to the drawing. In place of the background - a thin layer. At the place of the future kettle, birds and fruit - a denser layer.
If in some places you want to make a relief more speakers, it is better to wait, when the first layer of wool dries and then pave your wool by the second or third and more layer. Thin elements, such as bird paws, it is better to lay the wool layer so that they are clearer.

Then, when the cotton dried, the smear of the mirror or a special soil for acrylic paints or liquid-terrible acrylic paint. For this mirror take dark, black or dark brown paint.

After the mirror dried up, once again, we score it with dark paint, since the wool absorbs a lot of paint, and we need the color of the wool or the remaining tree through it did not shine.

After the dark paint dried, we paint the mirror acrylic.

When the paint serves, the mirror can be decorated with beads, decorative cord or braid.
So it looks on the wall.
Although, I like it more when there are many on the wall of such mirrors.
