Of the two ceramic pots that lie without affairs and dust, you can make your own hands a great thing for the house - the charming lamp, the lamp to which you can also do yourself. It is very exciting and budget, in addition, at the end of the work you will receive exactly the lamp that I wanted and not always get to find in the store!
Materials for work:
- two flower pots;
- adhesive epoxylin;
- Plafond for lamp;
- wire with switch;
- Two tips for wires.
You will also need a lampshade - ready or made with your own hands from the following materials:
- Two rings from the roller carrier of a suitable diameter;
- wire;
- Plastic or thin cardboard for the base;
- Thin double-sided adhesion;
- glue for fabric;
- Any suitable fabric.
Getting to work:
The first thing in the pots need to do the technical openings for the wire and the ceiling. Painching scotch, we put the place of the future hole, take the drill on the ceramics of the desired diameter and do the holes. Connect the wire and the ceiling.
We glue the pots among themselves, for example, with the help of glue, epoxylin. Excess glue along the edges we clean the stationery knife. So that the seam was not visible, it can be painted in the color of the color of the pots and at the end to cover with varnish.
Next you will need a lampshade. You can buy ready-made in the store, but you can make with your own hands the lampshade of the desired size and style. You will need two wire rods - two rings (you can find different sizes in stores), they need to be removed.
You will also need to make jumpers for lamp label. A total of 3 equal segments of the wire, the same curved (look for more details in the video master class below).
We establish curved wire segments on the frame, tying them to it with painted scotch, and in the center we also connect three wires into the ring with the help of the scotch, the "tails" of the wire bite. Additionally, the joints can be wrapped with threads and glue with hot glue.
Next you need to paint the frame to the base of the lamp.
The basis of the lampshar (walls on which the cloth will hold) are made of plastic (sold in thin shops), but it can also be replaced by a flexible thin cardboard. Cut the plastic base of the desired height and width for the lampshar. If the lengths are not enough, you can make the basis of two pieces of plastic, gluing or stitching them between themselves.
The frame (two rings) is gluable in a circle of two-sided tape and glue inside the plastic basis (from above and below, in the same edge).
It remains to cover the frame to the cloth: we cut the fabric of the desired size with 1 cm allowances, we apply glue and glued to a plastic lamp. The edges of the fabric bend and pressed to both rings with double-sided scotch.
At this stage, the fabric can be painted or supplemented with lace and other decor.
Another option is to draw your own drawing on the fabric (or translate through the copy and circle to the contour)
