The stars came together and I finally managed to do it! Namely - make a chest of drawers in a classic style with elements of stucco, and to paint the chalk paint from our own materials. I, of course, I will not tell you everything in detail, in this master class I will only tell you about All stages of their work and hope that you will use my experience.

So, let's begin.

In my disposal was the Ikeev chest (sizes 70x40x72) already served and it was clear that it was necessary to do something with him. In Ikea, it costs about 3000, the size is more about 5,000 rubles.

Since I planned the entire dresser to paint the chalk paint, it was not necessary to swee it very much, I only was very well a cheerful chest of drawers and sabrevel complex places. I wanted to change a little view of the chest and therefore I prepared additional materials - legs - supporting wooden 4 pieces and The bottom board is the foundation - the furniture regiment - bought in Lerua Merlin, there I was cut off the desired piece from the board according to my sizes. And I bought 3 pcs 2 m wall molding with a bulk pattern, for strips between stucco. In general, I spent about 1,200 rubles on it. I screwed the legs to the board, then attached the board to the chest at the corner to the side walls from the inside.

From the beer cardboard, the rounded bottom facade (see photo) cut out the template. Printed cardboard to the lower overlap of the chest on liquid nails. With the inside of the side, which is not visible, went through the inner corner of the hot gun to strengthen the cardboard itself and avoid his slick. To get a convex edge, painted a wide strip on the edge of a hot gun, a curly edge turned out. Unfortunately, the photo of this process did not, but the result is visible on the finished product.

It remained to come up with how to do stucco, buying ready very expensive. I ordered on Ali such curly pieces of the type of wood, who needs a link write. I ordered them 1-2 things, as I was going to do on their basis the Molda for casting.

Molda I did according to the master class of Catherine Smirnova (Shabbywomen). Required materials-silicone sealant (or moment); - starch (corn, potato, etc.); - jar for mixing; - Any gloves; - Warm for mixing. It is necessary to mix silicone sealant and starch in proportion 1: 1.5.

Mix everything carefully with a stick. Now you can take this mixture into your hands (dressed in gloves) and disappoint it. When the mixture is well mixed, it will no longer stick to the hands, so gloves can already be removed. Make from this Mesiv leeping. Now we take our frame (or what we want to get rold) and "brimming" it into silicone mass. Leave to dry for a day. After drying, I pull out the frame and see the ready-made beautiful moldin. Now it can be used when we want, you only need to "put" polymer clay (or gypsum) in Mold. P.S. Warning the smell costs such that already eyes eaten, so I mixed outdoors, the good on the street was warm, I went to the balcony and the "Traville" of the neighbors (joke). When the molds were dried, they still continued to stink by a solvent, so I waded them for a couple of days, and then I kept in the package. And more advice: Attach the element from which Molda is making, on a flat surface - plywood or something else suitable for The surface of the finished mold was smooth. I've already thought about it, so I have the surface "wavy") I got here such molds.

The lining or castings themselves, they are called differently, I did Katerina Udovichenko's prescription.

1) any acrylic sealant (this is the basis, it is most of all); 2) a little PVA D3 adhesive (for strength and better compression of the composition; without glue, ready-made elements are easily broken); 3) corn starch (removes extra moisture, complements the foundation); 4) a bit of any oil (I have linen, it took that already ranking; it works with sunflower, but less viscosity; oil fastens the whole composition, makes it elastic and at the same time he does not stick to his hands). Mix first the sealant with glue, then add starch and smear the mass, and add butter. You can find her master class and see more detail. So I needed many corners and 3 large elements, and I only have moldes in one thing, I did not wait for the complete mass of the mass in Molda. Just kneaded a little more tight mass, like a soft plasticine, and so that it did not stick to the shape, everything fluffed with starch. This gave me it is possible to almost immediately remove from the Molda ready to stucco. While she has not dried yet, but he sucks already on a flat surface. Thus, in one evening, I made all the decorative elements and put them on drying. For the manufacture of chalk paint used the recipe, which was in the book Svetlana Shamina "Chalk Paint". Materials: Grout for Zerecit seams, Matte acrylic paint on latex based color "Sandy beach", Water. For example, the description can be found in the Internet fields or I will unsubscribe to you in the comments. Did the paint with a roller, in narrow places with a brush, 2 layers. She dried up, then slightly stabbed and caused another layer of paint. The roller turns out a neat thin layer of paint. The number of layers is determined by which density you need proscure. But after 3 layer, I was already stucked my stucco, so that I had another layer with the stucco, and the color was glued down. I was glued to the same acrylic sealant, it can be replaced with liquid nails. I drank a little, to the softening of the sour cream, and the tassel was applied to the lower side of the casting. When the whole chest was shrouded, a dry brush with white paint I went through the protrusion of stucco. Here, too, your taste can be made brighter or paler as you like. I first went slow, but then I realized that it was necessary to make a barrel. The paint during drying is pale and becomes less noticeable.

Well, at the end I did since it was recommended in the book "Cretaceous Paint" - went through with transparent wax over the entire surface. Especially well broke the countertop and polished wax. Well, that's all that I wanted to tell you.
