This rug is sewn from jeans pockets, and processed by the details of the belt.
If you are fond of apsekeling, that is, by alterations of things, in particular - often sew something from old jeans, you probably have items remain - for example, the rear pockets and belts. You can use them, sewing such an unusual rug. You can use different pockets and make a mat you need.
You will need:
- details from several pairs of old jeans (12 pairs are used here);- flap fabric for the base of the rug;
- non-slip substrate;
- dispenser;
- Portnovsky scissors;
- Portnovsky pins;
- glue for fabric;
- needle for denim;
- Sewing machine and thread.
STEP 1
Jeans should be widespread. Onsuate the rear pockets and belts. The belts do not break the upper seam.
Step 2.
Clear the rectangle from the fabric for the rug of the size you need. Position the flap face up. Personal details face up position on the flap, so that the pockets overlap each other. Secure the pins.
Step 3.
Success your pockets to the fabric using the needle for Denim. It will be better to use an enlarged stitch length.
If parts of the pockets go beyond the boundaries of the rectangle, cut them.
Step 4.
Put the item from the substrate of the same size as the part of the rug. Press the backing on the back of the rug.
Step 5.
Insert the edges of the rug between the details of the belts. Secure the pins.
At the corners, cut off the belt under 45 degrees and bring the edge. Lay the lines, sewing the belt. Ready.
