Dear knitters! I suggest you to get acquainted with the distortion in practice.

Distich gives a beautiful, smooth and tight edge, which is not stretched in the sock. Two types of edges are described in detail in detail: simple DS and DS shot. For patterns compressed vertically, such as a boil knitting and brioche, it is better to use Shot of DS Kray in which the edge loop is pronounced through a row. At the same time, in each row, the first loop is removed, and the last loop is pronounced as a distille. IMPORTANT: Since each DS shot covers four rows in height, he tightens the edge vertically, so it must be wedge free than the other loops.

Depending on how to cross the first loop, it turns out a different edge, with an open or closed loop chain. Closed region It consists of crossed loops, it is narrower and dense (blue). Open region It consists of ordinary open loops, it is wider and freer (blue). The description of the scarf is attached to the manual removed DS edge closed.

Instructions for performing distent edges are shown for sweating mating. For other patterns, use the same method, simply change the pattern between the edge loops.

It should be noted that the Distich technique is based on Classic knitting method . In it, the loops are sitting with the right wall (foot) forward. If you use a combined or grandmother's method, then you need to change the orientation of the loop on the knitting needle and to prick it with classic capture.

Please, please read the text of the instruction for edge loops. It is not big, but important to understand the structure of the Distich. Of course, it is much easier to watch the video and immediately try to repeat, why still read in the instructions and look at the drawings ... In this case, the video is shown not as the main element, but as an addition to illustrate text in the same way as the drawings, only three-dimensional.

I will be very glad to hear your opinion about the new technique (and can be seen samples :). I hope everything will be clear. If there are difficulties, please contact.
