If you need to divide the curtains into several functional zones using a lung and almost inconspicuous material, or hiding something from prying eyes behind a light curtain, this can be done using weaving technique.
Weaving technique is quite simple, if you need to learn the process of creating the main nodes. The optimal option will be weaving in the Macrame technique, where the material will serve the hemp ropes of a small thickness.
The process of creating a curtain.
- Initially, you need to take four threads of the big length, which jointly tie into the node, and fasten on the basis using a pin. The most common option for the base is the pad stuffed with sand. The two lower end of the middle threads must also be fixed.
- The next step is to throw out the extreme right thread on the left side in front of the medium pair. After that, the left left thread should be shifted for these threads, and the end to put in the resulting loop. Both threads are tightly tightened, and then the whole procedure is carried out in reverse order.
- Left thread is taken, and carefully starts over average threads for them. The right is also carried out for the average, after which it is done in the loop. The threads are tightly tightened until the creation of a new node, the basis for which the node was created during the execution of step No. 1. This part of the weaving is the most difficult, the following will consist exclusively from the repetition of the main movements.
Steps from the first to the third should also be repeated with another pair of threads, so that next to the first executed node also appeared second. The next step will be the use of two extreme threads to the right of the first group, and two extreme threads on the left of the second group, to create a unified new general group.
It repeats with it the creation of the main node, after which both threads should be tightly tightened. All work with these threads should be performed by the mirror process of creating the first node. The process should be repeated until the desired number of nodules are on weaving.
In the described case, 14 rope groups were used immediately, each of which was four threads. The selected length of them was 250 cm, although it is much more convenient to apply rope cuts a length of two times more, and to fold them in half. It follows from this that one group is formed by fastening two threads into a dense node.
After completing the weaving curtains of the required length, it is worth hanging in the place intended for it. For a full-fledged end of the process, the lower edge of the woven curtain should be wrapped with a tape or another type of adhesive tape to prevent her abrasion in the place where it will fall on the floor. The result of the work on weaving will be the creation of an excellent interior object that will look good as a decor for the room or placement in the doorway, and it will not look too catchy.
