What happens if you connect simple materials - jute, cardboard and a little cloth? At the end of the work, you will have an unusual, charming and very beautiful thing - a decorative suitcase with a wicker pattern. Simple accessories and decor can add a suitcase and make it even more unusual, designer and unique! The work is very simple and fascinating.
To work, you will need:
- cardboard;
- jute;
- hot glue pistol;
- metal fittings;
- dense fabric;
- synthetic leather.
Getting to work:
For a start, you should cut two pieces of cardboard with parties 20 cm * 13 cm. Dimensions can be changed, depending on your idea. Slightly round the edges with scissors.
Cut out of the cardboard (or connect the tape a few pieces) two long stripes: 4.5 cm * 66 cm and 1.3 cm * 66 cm. Clinically twist them so that the cardboard is easily bent in the desired side.
With the help of hot glue-guns, start gluing the jute over the entire surface of two long cardboard strips, turning them on both sides.
To the smaller side (13 cm) glue 7 threads.
Make a simple wicker, alternately intersect every 7 yarns in the top row until you reach the end of the cardboard. Then just secure the jute on the side with the hot glue-gun.
To the back of two pieces of cardboard glue a dense piece of fabric.
To the edge of the first piece of cardboard on the glue-gun, we attach the first long strip of cardboard and jute, cut off, closely glue.
To the edge of the second piece of cardboard we glue a smaller strip.
Fix accessories with glue and jute on a suitcase.
