Pattern skirt and calculation of cut parts

We called this skirt mathematical because you need only calculations and only one measurement FROM (waist girth). After that, it can immediately be drawn on the fabric and cut. All calculations in our example on FROM = 75 cm.

The skirt consists of three squares - one large and two small, which are cut on the diagonal and is obtained by 4 anaid-free triangle. The length of the large square side is equal to the width of the fabric (in our example - 150 cm).

Radius of the circle (hole for the waist), with the center at the intersection of the diagonals of a large square, to calculate simply.

Circumference FROM = 2PR, where n = 3.14, R is a circle radius. Consequently R = FROM / 2P = 75/2 * 3.14 = 12 cm.

So, we calculated all sizes:

- side of a large square = tissue width = 150 cm

- R = circle radius for waist = 12 cm

- side of a small square = 44 cm

- Maximum du = AO - R = 106 - 12 = 94 cm with a width of tissue 150 cm and from = 75 cm.

Curra and skirt assembly technology

We cut one large square with a side of 150 cm and two small squares with a side of 44 cm. Small squares cut the diagonally and get four triangles. The center of the large square cut the hole for the waist in the form of a circle with a radius of 12 cm.

The diagram of the appointment of one triangle to one side of a large square is shown in the photo below - it is sewn for kartettes, hypotenuse is the bottom of the skirt. The remaining three triangles are sewn similarly to each side of the square.

Corners (in the photo below they are shown in white points) can be fixed on the wrong side and bind to ribbons or rubber bands, if you can sew a button, and to the second elastic band with a looping, the skirt will be much easier to rest. The length of the gum is found at the place.

Do not forget in the left side or from behind on the equity direction of the thread to perform a zipper zipper. Then make the belt and skirt is ready. The bottom of the skirt has an oblique direction of the thread, and the length of the hem in our example is 248 cm, which does not constrain the movement. The skirt looks spectacular, it is comfortable, and most importantly - it is very fast.
