I will tell you how to make a figurine at home Angel in stained equipment.

1. We begin to make an angel with sketch drawing on paper.

2. Make a copy from the sketch (you can from more tight paper). Cut it and use further as stencil.

3. Cut parts of the stencil put on a suitable glass and supply glass marker:

4. Cut the glass cutter drawn on the glass of details of the future stained glass:

5. Little irregularities around the edges are riveted with small nippers:

At the same time, the glass detail itself, at the same time, hold the pliers in one hand, put your hands into the box with fragments, and there are a breeching with the other hand, we shake the extra pieces. So fragments do not fly around throughout the room.

6. Now it is necessary to sharpen the edges of the glass parts on the machine:

Machine for cutting glass

I use the Machine, designed to calculate the edge of the glass, which is called Kristall 2000s, the production of the United States.

You can, of course, do without a machine. To do this, you just need to put the eath bar into the bowl with water (which uses our husbands to sharpen knives) so that it is covered with water, and neatly running about it sharp glass chips.

7. Split parts post on the sketch. If it turned out not very accurately, we mark the marker in those places that you need to be slightly treated or even bite, but after that come.

8. If all glass stained glass glass lay on the sketch is normal, it is well cutting together to each other,

then we turn to the next stage - wrapping the stained glass parts with a special copper foil:

Copper glue foil

This is a special thin copper tape with an adhesive layer applied to it. It is thanks to this layer that we fill the foil on the glass. I draw your attention to the fact that foil bend on both sides of the part Stained glass glass was the same.

Foil must be very good, close to the glass with a wooden or plastic wand.

9. When all the pieces of stainedwood are wrapped in foil, lay them on the sketch:

Compare parts with foil and sketch

We take a cotton wand and process all copper parts of the stained glass soldering acid (soldering acid is a flux, with which copper foil is covered with a glass)

10. Now you can start a soldering. We use solder with tin content and lead 50 to 50 or 60 to 40.

First, we fasten the part of the stained glass droplets of the molten tin, and then we already pass all the seams, trying to drive a soldering iron so that a small roller of tin is obtained on all seams. The beautiful connection of stained-glass parts is obtained, of course, not immediately, you have to practice a little, but over time everything will be obtained just fine

11. Do not forget to interstate all the edges of the angel's stained glass, there should be no unephany foil.

It remains to evaporate the angel loop from the wire for hanging and the Nimb (where is the angel without it).

12. Now you need to wash the stained glass very well to fully rinse the residues of the acid, otherwise the tin will be covered with moss. I usually, my stained glass window with a regular sponge with a degreasing detergent for dishes.

13. You can leave the work such, and you can cover the patina: copper or black.

To do this, take a cotton wand again and with an effort we rub a patina into tin seams. After rubbing the product is again carefully mine.
