He ventured to share another way of decorating with a lace-stench. This time, two canvases of the mirror from the recycled old wall, like a suitcase without a handle: and throw out a pity, and it's hard ... I want to immediately note that the mirrors themselves are enough in the house, so the need to use them in direct appointment I have the tasks It was not, but only as an element of the interior. This time I decided to apply lace as stencil, i.e. Apply to the surface and apply acrylic paint-spray on top to make a drawing-negative lace pattern on the product. So, the algorithm of work: -Bezzing the surface of the mirror with alcohol-containing solution, dry;
- place a mirror on a flat horizontal surface, select the place of decoration and fix the lace stencil on it (I fastened with scotch on the back of the mirror), you need to isolate the part of the mirror that will remain without decor (you can also with painting scotch);
- In a well-ventilated room, apply paint-spray so that it passes through the holes in the lace, but did not merge into some puddle. I had to practice several times.
-After drying paint to remove the lace and evaluate the work. It can also stay at this stage, but I wanted to allocate some motifs of contour paint for stained glass windows. Experimental and with color, and with lace. It is very difficult to get the outline of one thickness, since the tubes are metallic and put it with constant force unreal, especially when the paint ends;
- Pearl droplets made with a special pencil with paint.
- Then thought: what about the mirror now to care? And after many searches, I found a lacquer-spray giving thickness and transparency. Covered several times. Now you can wash the mirrors with water without fears.
Perhaps the result obtained is somewhat in east of the gold ... But the work is completed. It is impractical to post a photo of a pure mirror (before work), and in the process I did not shoot, I did not think that someone would show someone, so the photo only the end result. I apologize for not very clear photos, as it turned out to be photographed the mirror is hard enough (glare, light and so on ...). In my opinion, this way can be transformed and glass, and the mirror, the truth is only what can be put horizontally.
