Stained glass in Tiffany technique.

Anonim

Good day! I want to share my experience in creating a stained glass (candlestick) in Tiffany technique. Such a cup we must get at the end of our work:

And so, we will need:

Flux, Tassels for applying a flux, solder Pos-61, Soldering iron, Tongs for scrap glass, glass cutter, grinding (you can replace stones for sharpening knives), Stone for cleaning the stall, copper foil, scissors, felt-tumbler, Patina and Rake used rules)

Yes. I almost forgot the most important thing! Take care of your health! Be sure to use glasses to protect your eyes from fragments and mask.

We fix our template between the rails (Linek) so that the faces of our future cup were smooth.

From the paper template, we cut the parts, apply to the glass and supply them with a felt-tip pen:

After that, cut out all the details of the glass cutter:

We grind them and glue the foil:

We apply flux, fix the details to each other droplets of solder:

and distribute tin on the seams on both sides. Thus, we make all the faces of our cup:

All items are ready, proceed to the assembly: a droplet of solder in the corners fasten all sides:

We pass on all the side seams, do the bottom and almost everything is ready:

My cup, wipe on dry, apply a patina and admire the result:
