You can decorate the fabric for pillows or ready-made pillowcases.
The decorative pillow can look like a product of contemporary art, it is enough to use a cloth for it as a canvas! In the same way, you can paint and the finished pillowcase for the pillow. The main thing is to take enough tight material (here - denim) and special paints for textiles. Then the drawing is not only good to fall, but it will be withstanding washing. Here used paint, giving a dense matte coating, but you can choose paint to your taste. The brush does not need: all the drawings are created using an unnecessary credit card! This method is low and gives an interesting result.
In this master class, it is shown how to make the painting of two types. You can decor the cut of the tissue entirely and then carve out the details of the pillowcase or vice versa from it, first cut the parts, and then paint them.
You will need:
- cloth for pillowcase (white for the front side and color for the rear) or ready-made pillowcases of dense tissue;
- paints for textiles;
- unnecessary credit card or a piece of plastic for creating drawings;
- paper, newspapers or cellophane films to protect the working surface;
- If you decorate the finished pillowcase - a piece of polyethylene to pave the details of the pillowcases,
- If the paint requires fastening with an iron, - Iron and ironing board;
- If you sew pillowcase - scissors, portno pins, sewing machine and thread.
Step 1: painting in one color
Fabric before work, draw up. Protect the working surface with paper or polyethylene. Spread the fabric on it. Take paint with stripes and distribute with a card or piece of plastic. Then let the paint dry completely. If this requires an instruction to your paint, secure it with an iron.
Step 2: Multicolor Painting
Act the same as in the first case, only put paint not stripes, but with colored blocks. If you do not want color mixed, wash your card before work on the new color block.
