This technique is not founded by an unusual phrase "sculptural textiles". Why "sculptural" is still clear, for a doll, the figure itself is a sculpture. But that's why "Textiles"?

All simple! Because we will not sew a toy, but sculpt it! It is to sculpt with the help of syntheps (or any other filler), needles and threads. And that's it.

After all, I want to achieve perfection of the lines ... but there are simply no such in sculptural textile. This technique reminds me of plasticine commissioners from the book of D. Emca about Methodius Buslaev - wherever you pierce, dent and the child, everything is soft, plastic and pliable.

So, ready! We proceed to the formation of the loss.

The next step is forming nasolabial folds ...
