Then the ceiling in several tiers and different configurations, or the floor with a different level with the subwoofer. Or on the walls of Panel to issue. So we decided to create something like. Namely to make a fireplace. Not real, truth, and electric. Well, naturally make it beautiful. For a long time they thought and eventually stopped on the version of the walls of the walls under marble. This will be discussed, namely Venetian Plaster Technology onValidity.
Immediately make a reservation, I did it for the first time and I had to learn a little-strain. And why, but because no "master" for half a square did not want to take, give them volumes. Although they can also understand them.
And what else I want to say. Venetian women are different, and each master works in its own way. And to achieve this or that picture - the methods of application are also different.
As I did.
A firewall fireplace was built, which means the surface is already even (the most important rule for the application of Venetian plaster). The countertop was picked up with a pattern under a white and gray marble, whose streaks go to diagonally. It would like to achieve approximately the same pattern on the walls of the fireplace.
Since I did it for the first time, I reviewed the Internet for a start, consulted from familiar and other masters. Everyone told in different ways. And then I realized that before proceeding to the finish, you need to practice. Several pieces of drywall were used, different ways of applying until I achieved the desired result. True spoiled a little more plaster (no cheap pleasure). For the first time it was worth it.
What is needed for this;
Tool; Falcon type spatula with rounded corners, and a narrow spatula. The spatula must be stainless steel, and without burrs.
Material; Venetian plaster, dye for pouring, wax.
At first I braced the surface. Then pasted the painting ribbon where the polyurethane baguette will be glued. I postponed some plaster to another container and a black dye smoked in gray. I did it even when I trained. The main thing is not to rearrange with the kel.
Now you need to prepare tools. A bunch of finger to spend along the edge of the spatula and if burgers are felt, then to treat the smallest sandpaper, until the edge becomes smooth. Otherwise, when applied, scratches will be.
Next, the first primer layer is applied with clean plaster, and smooth to the perfectly smooth surface. Let's dry, approximately 6-8 h. Then we apply the second layer and make strokes on raw spatula.
Since my drawing on the countertop was diagonally, then I was diagnosed with the smear. Some say what you need to dry dry. On the contrary, I immediately applied the fiberglass on raw. You can see the whole process on the video at the end of the article.
It turns out there where the smears detained a gray plaster there, and its saturation depends on the depth of smears.
Immediately, not allowing to dry, my tools and again all the surface is dragging with clean stucco. It turns out the effect of dark streams as if inside the stone. Immediately squeezed with a glasswork, just carefully so as not to pull the non-dry plaster. Let me dry again. If it turned out too dark, it can be lit, to walk with clean plaster again. That is how I did.
And now, after a complete drying, a narrow spatula (without burrs), we begin to finally rub (elbow) the entire surface, giving it a gloss. It turns out like natural marble. Even the best results can be achieved by polishing machine. Not a grinder. And the last barcode is a spatula or sponge apply wax. And after it dries rubbing the surface. Now she is also moisture-proof.
Of course, work is not easy, but it is worth it. And if you yourself do repair, then, with a small training, you can make the same marble surface, or even better.
