Caleb Charland: Back to Light

Anonim

Photographer Caleb Charland (Caleb Charland) is a big fan of scientific experiments. In the research project "Back to the Light", he studied the possibility of obtaining electricity from fruits and vegetables.

For this, Caleb stuck in one part of the galvanized nail object under study, and the copper wire attached to it. The zinc coating of the nail emitted electrons, which, moving to the wire, provided a voltage sufficient to illuminate a small LED, writes "cool theme".

To the light source, the photographer can turn potatoes, apples, lemons, grapefruits, or, for example, acetic solution. Through its experiments, the photographer illustrates the infinite possibilities of alternative energy production.
