Ceramic flower pots are not good because they can be decorated as you like, as we are not limited in our creative fantasy. Flower pots can be painted, paint, salary with any gear material, perform decoupage on them, wrap up with ropes or cords, depending on what is more suitable for the interior of your home. I offer you to watch the master class on creating a bright and cheerful flower pot, decorated with a cheerful mosaic in the form of a variety of colors
In order to make a similar flower pot with handmade mosaic, you will need:
- The basis is a ceramic pot of chamomot, an emergency clay (I have 25 cm high);
- pencil and pastel for drawing markup;
- acrylic varnish in the canoe;
- ceramic tile, plates, glass balls;
- plugs for tiles;
- Capacity for glue and grout;
- Glue for ceramics;
- grout;
- rags and sponges (wash the pot from the grout);
- Liquid Silee to protect the pot from moisture.
At first I drew a simple pencil pattern right on the pot.
I immediately painted my drawing with dry pastel in order to determine the color of the future mosaic, and sprinkled with an acrylic varnish from a canister, so that everything was not inhaling in the process of laying out and gluing ceramic and glass pieces.
In the work on the mosaic, I used ceramic tiles, colored plates of suitable thickness and Marbles (glass balls). All elements are cut with special plaques intended for that and glued to pots - based on glue for ceramics.
Figure is completed. It remains to pick up a color and put a grout, wait for it to dry and climb it.
After the grout finally dried, I covered the pot with a liquid sieler - a means protecting the product from a stone from moisture and strengthening it.
