Children are very interesting to observe how from "nothing" can be created something with their own hands. In addition, all children love to sit in the dark with a burning candlelight and listen to fairy tales.
Today, I decided to create an appropriate atmosphere. I got stuck with oranges, the contents of which are a plump, and from the orange peel made a candle.
We take a bright and round orange.
Cut the skin in a circle so that one part (from the cutting side) was a little more.
Now separate the upper crust. We help yourself with a wand from ice cream or something like that.
Now, in the same way, we separate the lower crust and gently take out orange slices. Orange has a white slave in the core, which grows from the base. So, you need to take out the slices, without damaging this crane - it will be a phytyl. All this is done very easily.
Now we pour into the resulting candlestick sunflower oil without odor, about 2/3, and so that the wick peeps at least 1 cm.
Makazi wick in the oil and remove the surplus oil from it. You can add several drops of aromatic orange oil to sunflower oil, will be super!
To set fire to the wick, you will first need to make a little effort. Let it not scare you (we left 8 matches, the thin tip burned out), but then the wick will burn very well and for a long time.
P.S. The candle was burning 8-9 hours, until the oil ended, the orange leather skyr was baptized - they are unlikely to use. The candle did not smoke, there was no unpleasant smell, we really liked it. I advise.
