My photo review is devoted to creating a picture from wool on the topic "Sunflowers". He is designed those who already know the basic methods of work in the technique of "Woolen Painting" and did the paintings on their own, so there will be some photos and descriptions. The plot I chose a picturesque, without a special drawing, where an important place is given to the color stain.
For work, I used merino, thin and super thin, sharp scissors, fabric and the basis for the picture (organitis).
The fabric is glued to the basis of the pattern by the adhesive pencil so that the wool lay well and did not come down.
Wool layout methods used in this picture:
Pulling method — This is the pulling of smooth fibers of wool made of grazing Lena, imitating brush smear;
Method of plucking or cigarette — Crushing the wool around the finger pluck the upper woolly from the end, creating a confused beam, a cloud;
Deposition method — With the pullout method, pull the strand and tear away from it too much, forming the smear of the desired length. It is important that the strands are thin and transparent, otherwise they will be very hard to break.
Method of navigation or haircut — It's all that is done with scissors, sharp and comfortable! In this picture, I almost did not use this method.
I begin the wool layout from the primary color - it is white vanilla or light ocher (evil). Then I complement the other shades of light tones (white, light blue, light lilac). In the bottom corner, add dark shades of yellow-green (olive) and shades of brown.
The light is colder on the tone, the shadow of warm.
I add a little yellowness to those places where there will be sunflowers. The background is already ready, but at the end of the work it can be finalized (strengthen the light, shadow or add an additional shade, to put it simply that the soul will tell).
In order for the work to be gentle, with soft transitions, I work with transparent strokes, without leaving sharp transitions (except exceptions), smoothly moving from the tone to the tone.
I place the location of foliage. I use Dark green.
Little leaves and divided by tones. Gradually and transparent!
Weekly flowers.
Petals twisted at the ends.
All fragments of the picture first form the main color stain, and then correct the shape and toning for the need to other shades.
In the process of drawing, all parts are finalized, the composition is folded in color and form comprehensively!
At this stage, I completed the picture! My painting is ready! I hope that this photo review someone will inspire to create his own painting from wool!
