This MK is dedicated to the sewing of the passport cover. For a start, I would like to give a couple of recommendations for the choice of materials so that the result did not disappoint. The fabric on the outdoor side is worth choosing a dense, as well as the filler - just so the cover will be well keeping the form, which means to protect the passport.
I violated my best advice, counting exclusively on the filler - he is hard and harsh. I really wanted to sew from the new tcanyushki with birds, and it is rather thin.
Well, closer to business.
Cut:
1. Two rectangles with a size of 15 cm per 21 cm of two different tissues.
2. Four rectangles measuring 8 cm for 15 cm of two different tissues of two of each.
3. Filler - 14 cm for 20 cm
4. Thin strip of fabric about 3 cm wide of arbitrary length (once a half or two more cover heights)
5. Rubber 15-16 cm
Assembly:
If the filler without the adhesive layer, it is worthwhile to strike it to the lining, having previously marked:
It is not necessary to choose such a difficult pattern for stitch, as I can, for example, simply restrict ourselves to the contours of the Cathedral of the Holy Family, which in Barcelona is quick and easy! :)
Then we take small rectangles and steal them one of the long sides, the front sides of each other. Weching seam.
We turn on the face, weeping, we deposit another line along the first seam.
Now we take stripes and irrigate the sides to the center, you can a little flashes.
Now we attach a zigzag to the strip of the gum, all the time pulling it all the time in the course of the stitch:
It turns out this, seeking to curl into a roller, thing:
Surprisingly, we are almost in the final! We collect "sandwich", order as in the photo. Pins fix the tips of the gum.
From above, face down, put the cloth outside the cover:
All soluble, leaving a hole for turning at the top. Corners cut, clean the edges.
Soak, we move away.
Along the edge - a decorative line, at the same time a closing hole, through which turned out.
That's all ready. This turned out to cover:
