Beautiful egg shell box
Casket in the technique of decoupage, krakle and egg shell.
To work, we need items that are difficult to imagine together with any other circumstances: egg shell, paints, manicure wand, PVA glue, tassel and actually cardboard box itself.
There was an old cardboard box, and I decided to give her a new life! To begin with, the whole box outside and inside with sandpaper, rather large, and then we will go again with a "null".
I decided to make a mosaic from the egg shell on the box.
To do this, we need: egg shell, brush, PVA glue, a chopstick for manicure.
First we smear a small portion of the box with glue (we work with small sections, because PVA will dry enough). Then take a small piece of the shell, I apply to the surface and gently press the rod on the shell, so it would cracked, as shown in the photo.
The sharp end of the sticks push the shell fragments to the distance we need, thus forming a mosaic pattern. Sharky shells, like the distance between them, can be large or small at your discretion (which is where it raised creativity). After the shells are pushed to the desired distance, they must be flatched by the end of the finish to the surface.
It should turn out so.
After laid out the shells - fix the entire surface of the mosaic with PVA glue.
For my idea, the mosaic will be on all surfaces of the box. The case is painstaking, and the eggs must not be enough, but the result is worth it.
Now cover the whole box of white acrylic paint in several layers, to paint the color of the shell.
Now the most responsible moment is gluing a napkin! Sorry for the quality of the photo, I really wanted to make more. We glue a three-layer napkin. First, remove two layers of napkins, one remains on which there is a drawing. Lossing the surface of the PVA box. The napkin is cut into two or three fragments, which would be more convenient to glue. We apply a fragment of the napkins to the surface and immediately (it is necessary to work very quickly, because From the PVA, the napkin simply melts in the hands or formed wrinkles), we apply a napkin and quickly with a brush from the center to the edges, smear the glue and drive the air from under the napkin. All this makes gentle movements otherwise everything is spoiled. Keep in mind: any odds can be transformed into anything interesting. If in some place the motive broke up - then it can be presented. In general, this procedure must be carried out with optimism and faith in yourself!
So we glue the whole box. Here it would be possible to stop. In the white version, it also looks interesting, but I wanted to try to make her. There was a moment of doubt, but it seemed too easy ...
The effect effect has achieved in the following way: all shells are painted with silver acrylic paint, where necessary - the black paint fragments of the pattern of napkins. Then we take black pastels, we crush into the powder and fingers rub into the surface of the box. Then on the ribs of the box in the foam sponge we apply a black acrylic paint. To have a somewhat scattered effect - before applying paint on the box, a sponge with paint should be blown out several times about paper.
