Materials:
• Feathers of yellow and green colors,
• coffee beans,
• foam ball with a diameter of 5 cm,
• Brown acrylic paint,
• Teip-tape of green color,
• Wire for a stem with a length of 25 cm (diameter 4-6 mm),
• Tassel, stationery knife, hot glue gun.
How to make sunflower from feathers.
The stationery knife cut the foam ball in half. For the manufacture of the Sunflower, only one half will be needed. Cutting surface can be painted in brown and wait until the paint is driving. Using hot glue Fresh coffee beans, forming a middle of a flower. On the other hand, the workpiece lock the wire, having previously treated slightly hot glue.
Cooking yellow feathers for work in this way: for the first row you need feathers with a length of 2.5-3 cm - 15 pcs.; For the second row - feathers 4 cm long - 10 pcs.; For the third and fourth rows - feathers with a length of 4.5-5 cm for 10 pcs. For each row.
We form the first row. We stick the feathers around the foam blank, while we apply a strip of glue (0.7-0.9 mm) on the inner side of the pen.
Forming a second row, we apply a drop of glue to the outer side of the feathers. In this way, we stick feathers and in the following rows, and the amount of sunflower depends on the number of these rows.
From green feathers, namely 10 pcs. 2 cm long, create a kind of "skirt" for sunflower. A drop of hot glue is applied to the outer side of the feathers.
We wind the wire teip-ribbon at an angle of 45 degrees, while tenting the tape slightly. At a distance of five centimeters from the beginning of work, we take green feathers to the wire, which will serve as a leaflets.
Sunflower is ready!
