If the faces came across, then it was just drawings on (or software) by tracing, without embossing or only with a light hint on it. The debut satisfied me. And accepted the right direction and ran further ...

Instruments. Sticks with stamping balls (preferably different size), white gel pen (Believe me - it exists!).

I use a rug for a computer mouse.
We select a beautiful and not very complex photo.

We supply contours with a white gel handle, whatever it would be confused. This is the front side! It is very important to accurately outline the eyes, ears, nose, because A minor displacement leads to irreparable distortions. In addition, you need to outline common contours (borders)
Begin! Do not forget to turn the tracker! We spend all embossed on the left side!
Put on a soft substrate (mouse pad)
I have all the photos on the right side, we work with the left!
Tosses, first of all, the brightest places, constantly comparing with the original.
"Clamp" - we press, press, labeled, dosing push, leaving the trail. With the front side of the carting becomes slightly convex.
Large ball labeled large areas. I turn over and see the result after the processing of each small site!
Thoroughly work out all the fur thin ball, not forgetting to check with the photo!
We erase with the front side of the contour. To do this, use a wet cotton wand (my terrible secret!)
Carefully look, correct and add strokes.

This is my advice from my own experience, fix, practically nothing is not-possible!
