From personal experience I know that parents who bought a playpen for their baby often face the problem that he refuses to play there.
And the purchase often ends with an ad type: "Sell playpen in perfect condition." I, faced with such a situation, decided to remove the playpen in the house, which radically changed the situation. I decided to share this experience.
So, we will need (in brackets I will indicate the amount of material that it took me, since the amount of material depends on the size and configuration of the redesigned playpen):

My semi-annual child did not reach the top soft handrail, in connection with which the desire to make an additional handrail at that height, where the son would be comfortable for him. Made a frame of a x b from a polypropylene tube. If you have a special soldering iron - well. I have no, so I warmed the end of the pipe on the gas stove. The resulting design is wearing a synthetic tube.
The windows I did, sowing a cardboard pattern with a cloth and so on. I wanted to make them beautiful, and not just rectangular, I had to pretty fed over the circles. That is why, I think it is advisable to make the frame frames from felt and flash with polyethylene. Tubes and the door is better made from the fabric slightly darker. For a platband, we build a stencil from cardboard according to the drawings, add a sump layer for volume and we are wearing a cloth.
The door can be decorated with decorative cord and applique. I put in the door of the DVP sheet between the layers of the fabric so that when opening the door played the role of the ramp, but during operation I realized that the soft tissue door would be more convenient. Lightning is first more convenient to laugh between the facial and invalid fabric of the door and the walls, only then sew the base of the door to the bottom of the front fabric (the canvas for fixing the design).
To the top of the walls of the house, we sew a knitwear strip (10cm width) for tightness of the handrail, not forgetting to insert elastic bands for fastening (length each 20cm). The lower part, which will be under the base (bottom) of the playpen, consists only of facial fabric, is pulled by a cord. Handrail we are handing hand.
We collect a playpen with new walls, we drag the lace from below, we bind the rubber bands to the frame.
