In this article I want to write step by step, as I did a male bag for everyday socks. They say "shoemaker without boot", but I decided to please yourself and make a bag.
Any of my project begins with a primitive sketch.
The planned bag must be size about A5, contain one more compartment and smaller separation, for notepad and handles.
The sketch is made now it is necessary to determine the main details of the pattern.

With the help of a knife with replaceable blades and a metal line I cut out our items.
On the front side of the main branch I make marking under pocket.
I take a strip for the side of the pocket, on the one hand, I make a groove under the seam. From the inside, the side edges do thinner. With the relics of the blade and the knife whom did the pattern, then hang a little sandpaper.
I place and make holes (the distance between the holes I have 4mm)

Moicing the side surface is beginning to turn out (make it possible to make the entire side of the side, and then there will be stains like me, although after the finish processing they will disappear). And sew it to the main face.
On the pocket and lid I put magnetic accessories.
On the lid we will mask the accessories with a decorative circle. And sewing pocket.
Split corners on the lid. So far I will postpone the resulting design to the side.
We begin to sew a zipper. We make the markup on the skin, we pierce the holes, gluing the lightning sew all the same saddle seam. I bought 20cm zipper, there is a slight inconvenience in operation, it is better to sew a longer 24-26 cm.
Send zipper to the front side. For convenience I use stationery clamps.
To the side strip, I immediately sewed fastening under the belt. Then connecting with the zipper, also sewed to the front side. (At the bottom, in the center, we sew a small strap 30-60mm, a photo, unfortunately, did not, then will be visible).
I didn't have enough skin a little on the main lid and I decided to rush to her a small piece as well as stuck lateral parts.
Initially, I was not going to do anything, but deciding that the bag would look very strictly, in the course of long deliberations that finally chose the Celtic tree of life.

By a rotary knife, putting the blade at an angle, carefully cut the contour to a depth of 0.8-1mm.
With the help of stamps, we highlight the outline and background.
You can sew the lid. Wetting the skin and form a bend. Then in the center below I put magnetic accessories.
The bag seemed to me boring and I decided to add decorative elements.
I paint the details in a darker color. And sewing the edges to the lid, and the middle part to the strap clasp (which is hiding magnetic accessories).
I decided to flash around the perimeter.
The belt is regulated according to the principle of a simple belt. The ends of the belt are sewn to the bag.
Bag is almost ready. Sandage flatter the ends, then polish wax. And go to the impregnation of the entire bag. I impregnate me paste (wax, linseed oil, Castor). We apply a small amount of paste and begin to trim intensively. Castor heats up wax, and it absorbs into the skin.
There was a little more pasta to the drawing, and she immediately did not approve, heated the hairdryer and the tone was equal.
