I want to share a simple idea and technology for making a practical New Year's souvenir - fragrant soap with a snow-covered Christmas tree inside.
The story is designed for those who already have an idea of working with a soap-based basis, but even if you never kept her in your hands - try it is not difficult. I tried to describe everything as much as possible, but if something is unclear, ask, I will try to answer everything.
The first thing you need for a master class is a manicure. On those MK that I saw, almost always an excellent manicure with a complex pattern, causing my female envy and distracting from the process. I also want to!
It is a pity that this item still had to miss, which was another reason for doubt whether something is worth uploading to something, but in the end, the grafoman itch won.

The table is better to cover with polyethylene, if the soap is liquid - it will definitely be sheds and not once. Mikro-volume to put 400-600 W. The smaller the power, the longer wait for the melting of the base, but the less likelihood that you miss the moment, and it will overheat.

We set up and expand everything you need.
We need a melting container, I have this bowl for a mixer on (in the background of the photo) and the container for mixing and warming up (I have dimensional glasses). We will do 3 types of foundations, so it costs 3 dimensional glasses, next to everyone - everything you need to not confuse and not forget. In the background there is another 4th cup, since I conceived at the same time to spend a little experiment to improve the idea, which I will show the way. You can do it or not to do, depending on the size of enthusiasm.
The minimum need to have: containers (porcelain circles are also suitable), molds, non-making dyes: white (titanium dioxide) and green and, of course, the base itself, transparent, I have it:
One soap is 100 grams of foundations, but really leaves more, so we take with a margin.
The rest - the excesses are bad, without which, however, I can not do. In order not to pour everything into a bunch, I will tell about each as needed.
So, first we do snow.
For snow, I use the left for the right: a pearl cosmetic white, cosmetic glitter white holographic, cosmetic glitter holographic silver and white dye titanium dioxide, mixed with water, it is back in a bottle with a spout. In the future, the word "cosmetic" will be omitted for brevity, considering it implied. In principle, it is enough to simulate snow dioxide dioxide, but I love everything glitter and shimmer, and only in the new year I have the opportunity to break away using the whole arsenal. I do not flavor the snow, as I will use it and in another soap with other flavors.
A large chopped soap base in a mixer bowl is sent to the microwave and put it in the capacity of 400 W, constantly checking its condition. This basis melts at 70 degrees. Celsius, overheating is harmful to it. If the basis still boiled - it is better to simply throw it out and take a new one. But with us this will not happen, we are BDIM. By the way, you can cut the basis with large rude pieces, it is not Olivier.
Here it is - our base, already melted and overflow into a measuring glass.
I smell a mother of pearl. Never do that with pigments, if you don't want to sit until the morning, rubbing lumps.
We stir quickly, but without fanaticism, the lush foam is not needed here. If it was still formed - splashing at her good old alcohol.
We are in turn of both Glitter.
Stir, without giving them to gather at the walls.
It turned out a beautiful basis, but too transparent. For greater reliability, add titanium dioxide. Who does not have - you can simply melt and add a white base.
Something little? Still a little. In my process, the base thickened, I had to warm up to additionally.
Immediately apply what they did.
Pour the foundation in the mold, let her cool there and overflow to the next, leaving a little in the recesses.
That's what happened:
We pour a little "snow" in the base form to create a snowdrift under the Christmas tree.
While the snow is finally freezing, we will deal with the green base.
For her, I have been prepared: mineral pigment (neighing), pearl green and green glitter. In the background there is a green water-soluble dye. He, IMHO, more beautiful than the pigment, but you can only add it if we are not going to insert the Christmas tree in a transparent basis. The fact is that our consumers, friends and, worse, buyers, have a cunning habit of putting the soap on the shelf for beauty, instead of improvingly to go into the case, and rather buy a new one. And there, on the shelf, most of the dyes mightly migrate, staining in its color, the fact that according to the author's plan should not be ... in this case, green. For example, heaven or snow. I have they conceived completely different colors, so now I say solid "no!" migratory dyes.
Mineral pigment before use is better to be confused in glycerin or water before the disappearance of lumps, but the pearls and glitters are perfectly diverged and so.
Add a mother of pearl. For reliability, he is absolutely not needed, but with him our Christmas tree looks much more good.
Stir.
Add a glitter, stir.
The moment of adding the pigment I missed the photo, but I think, and so everything is clear. I then added another Gold Glitter for Four of the New Year.
If the base has noticeably sucked in the staining process, then it is better to warm it up before adding flavoring. I have this essential oil fir to the tree smelled of the Christmas tree. Quantity - on the eyes. According to the rules of flavoring in soap add to 5%.
Now we take our snow-covered mold and generously sprinkle with alcohol, not paying attention to the protests of the male part of the audience. Match immediately install on the horizontal stand. Silicone tree for this purpose is ideal, but the creamy or little bowl will also come down.
Pour the green base and remove the bubbles by splashing on them with alcohol. Yes, yes, we need a lot of alcohol :)
A sprinkled Christmas tree for the time of frozen leave alone. To remove it from the plastic form, you need it to fully harde it, to speed up the process, you can send it to the freezer, it does not hurt her, or who has a balcony.
Now we will deal with winter air with snow. That's what I have prepared for him.
Take the molten base again and add a couple of drops of a blue dye to it. In this case, it does not matter what he migrates, because we put it quite a little bit to turn natural yellowish shade of the basics in a bluish. A slightly holographic glitter for the effect of snowflakes circling in the air, literally - on the tip of the sticks for sushi.
There is still such a wonderful glitter - asterisks. I decided to decorate them soap from above.
To do this, took some stars on the wand and shook them into the form. Then he knocked a little on her so that the glitter moves to the area where the sky will be.
At the border of the snowdrift, the spoon was poured a little silver glitter so that the snow was sparkling in the light. Now the basic form is ready.
Install the shape on the stand horizontally. Give our Christmas tree from the freezer, take out, a little flexing the mold.
Then, without sorry for alcohol, spray "snow" in basic form and fill with the "heavenly" base of approximately half. We try to pour in the middle, then in this place will be the least glitter. Then I spray with alcohol my Christmas tree from all sides and gently lay it into place. As a result, the foundation level will rise to almost the edge. That's what should happen.
Next there are 3 options.
1 option - simplest.
Align the Christmas tree, sprinkle with alcohol again and fill the transparent "heavenly" basis to the level. This can be finished. It is such a Christmas tree put in my store. At first I really liked it, I like it now :)
But we are not looking for light paths, remember, I spoke about the experiment? And in the background there was another container for the foundation and two pearls nearby: Blue and bright blue? With the use of these pearls, I made the basis of this color, as I wanted - bright blue, a bit dark, because the new year is an evening and even night holiday - the time of the shortest day.
Further Option 2. In my opinion, the most beautiful. Sprinkle everything with alcohol and pour a bright blue basis on the sky area.
We give it not to the end to frozen, again sprinkle with alcohol and the bottom of the "snow" base into the lower part of the mold, on the "Earth". Top up to the edge. Ideal if white and blue are mixed slightly, forming an uneven border.
This is how completely flooded shape looks like.
Option 3.
We take the blue base and pour the "clouds" in that part of the base form, where we will have the sky. "Snow" and the stars we made there in advance.
After that, we do the same as in the first two versions. Everyone we burst with alcohol, pour half, put the Christmas tree, again with alcohol, pour to the edge. "Back" can be made any: transparent, "snowy, blue, which will like it.
The 3rd option - left to pour the last layer.
Now we go drinking well-deserved tea or do another soap.
When the soaps are frozen, take them out of the form and see what happened.
