After watching the master classes of wonderful craftsmen on the pit and putting inspiration, I decided to share my experience in creating a "sculptural miniature" (let's call them) from nuts, nails and other metal trash.
My MK is not as colorful and beautiful as, for example, the felted toys - but also the process of creating crafts is more dirty, so I tried to show the most clean and interesting moments of work.
Thought, on the basis of what work, talk about my passion and chose the notorious personality of the mechanic of Afoni from the eponymous film performed by the wonderful actor Leonid Kuravlev.
Materials and tools:
- solder pos-61;
- soldering acid;
- soldering iron 80 W;
- nails, nuts, copper wire, steel cable with a diameter of 3 mm;
- tin (aerosol cylinders are remarkable);
- Dremel;
- Passatia, clutch, tweezers, "third hand";
- Acrylic soil and black paint (aerosol), bronze acrylic paint;
- work desk with good hood;
- gloves to protect hands from burns;
- respirator;
- And most importantly, a little imagination and imagination.
I almost do not do sketches to your work, first in mind I describe the composition from the available materials, and then as a soldering iron will fall! For the quality of the photo I ask you hard not to kick, one hand is usually busy, photographed on a soldering iron and solder.
So let's go:
1. First make blanks for the actual Athoni Taurus:
- Welcome three nails 3 * 90 mm in half, in all spill the edge, in a two-hand;
- we are together two wrenches for the eyes and solder their nose
- I carry your eyes with a nose to the head;
-Yo four limbs also solder nuts, soldering the "pelvis" and solder to it;
- Now you can solder the resulting torso and head, then we solder the shoulders;
Here is a set for Afoni himself, you can proceed to the main idea of the composition - toilet bowl.
As the main detail, the brass eccentrics for the mixer were perfectly fitted in the bathroom. On both ends of the eccentric, stepping two threads of the threads to get better. From a piece of tin, cut out and soldering a drain tank, which, then solder to the "sedassium" :-)
We decorate the tank of copper wire, and the toilet cable, 3 mm thick.
And what is the product yes without a lid? - Cut from the same tin, you solder the copper wire around the perimeter, we make loops and fastened to the toilet. Here is a self-sufficient and proud handsome man:
The main components are ready, you can start assembling the composition, to a pre-stripped stand (in its role there is a cover for canning) we solder the toilet. At the same time, we pretend where to put Athous, so that he looked with his ceramic friend. Athous solder on one nail-the second solder later when you make sure that the composition looks fine.
All parts are soldered a slightly enhancing, maybe later you will have to change the angle of inclination.
Without forgetting that the Afonya intelligent locksmith, make it a tie (how, in the toilet to climb yes without a tie!), And as well as he in the film was expressed by Ridicul with all the plumbing devices. Tie and suitcase cut out of tin.
And of course, you need to "Ridicul" to fill something: from the wire of Genne and solder a tap with a valve, a plumbing cable, and some other unknown thing.
And at the end of the composition, the most important detail of the ball, on the lid of the drain tank, for the proper functioning of the system!
Next, the process of flushing the product is first soaring in hot water with the addition of a drop of dishwashes, then a toothbrush with the same means thoroughly wash off all the soldering acid from the crafts, otherwise the paint will face badly, and all the product rusts, careful Rinsing the soap solution in running water, further, the dryer.
The painting process consists of three stages:
1. Fit the ground (I use the car in the aerosol)
2. Coating black matte paint (also automotive in aerosol)
3 Stage should be described in more detail: we have a black paint product, which does not attract anything:
To help us: Bronze acrylic paint, hard brush (tonsured in advance), improvised palette
By the method of "dry brush" gently cover the bronze paint craft, the main thing is not to overdo it and do not cover the thick smooth layer of bronze all the product.
