Today I want to show you a place where I work: pole, south, draw, I work at the computer ...
In the needlework medium it is customary to call a workshop or working corner ... But in our house somehow the word "Cabinet" has come true :)
For 8 years of my creativity, I had to organize my workplace 7 times. It was a tiny table among children's toys, and a separate room. And even a separate workshop outside the house. Then again a tiny corner ...
Well, now I will show you how it settled at the moment :)
I will start with the fact that we live in Berlin in a removable apartment. It is customary to take apartments without furniture, so all the furniture we bought themselves.
Apartment 2 Bedroom: Children's and our bedroom. It is in the bedroom that I have a place for my workshop.
Of course, I would like to have a separate room ... Because to fall asleep and wake up "at work" sometimes not too fun :)
But you have to get out at the given conditions :)
So, details :)
1. My table
The length of the table is 160 cm. I am not enough :) I am going to change the table top for a longer one. And the other.
This countertop was bought in Ikea (as well as the rest of the furniture). In order to prevent and sit at the computer, it is great. But I constantly have something to put something to not spoil it. Very gentle young lady turned out to be :) I accidentally drunk super-glue on her and was able to tip it out with the facing :)
We will change on the table top for the kitchen from the array. I had this in the past office. Distributed!
Above the table - shelves and rails with the necessary good, which should be at hand.
Right on the wall - info-stand. On it the desired long-term information, inspirational pictures and any nonsense. There is also important checks / documents in order to not forget about them and decompose in places when there is time.
Next to the computer there is a box with a diary, notebook for work records, book revenues / expenses and other stationery
Here are the postage receipts, hand cream and child inhaler :)
Some more little things. I think that without comments, everything is clear.
To the right of the table, the calendar hangs on the rack.
2. Shelves and rails above the table
- Ribbons in rolling colors hang on wooden holders. Like kebab :)
In these banks and containers beads, beads, buttons, pendants, small wooden figures (butterflies / all sorts), ready-made beads from FIMO, which I blinded "about the supply" :)
In a gray container with flowerflocks - molds for cookies. I cut the plastic sometimes.
Here are some of the containers
I always decline in colors or by topic. The worst thing is to decompose everything after the end of the work ... The temptation to repulse everything in one pile is very large! :)
Here everything is clear: brushes, pencils, sharpener ... in a pink bank - threads / bobbies, needles sets. In the basket - threads of running colors and a needle. There are also cut and stitched puppet-legs.
Flowers of different sizes, shapes and shades. In banks again beads.
Trimming ribbons, lace, cord .... in Tilda-jar there are hair, which I use not frequently.
PVA, Toothpicks, FIMO-gel, paint for glass and varnishes for the polymer.
Hooks hang scissors for fabric: ordinary and zig-knocked. In the glass - metal suspension and gas lighter.
Well, the hare is so ... Pakes! :)
3. bedside table under the table
Now I'll show you what is going on in the bedside tables. Start from top to bottom.
The topmost box is a little inconvenient because he is petty and I always fight the table top when I open it. Therefore, there are things that I use not every 10 minutes :)
In the depths of containers with batteries, napkins for lens, epoxy, folding knife, flashlight ... Envelopes. Hole punch ... even there somewhere the calculator was attached :)
From the edge is the desired wires and charging.
The second box is the chassis. You can look at a long time :) There is also a cup with buttons, which I sew the dolls.
Next box with a working tool. There is a lot of all: tools for assembling and modeling, adhesive gun and spare glue, foil ... in the depths of acrylic paints, epoxy resin, cotton woven discs and sticks, acetone ... Side the jar with salt, watercolor and chalk installer.
Here spoons-blanks, chopsticks for decisive, hole punch. Here, under the spoons there are jars with "cream" for sweet bracelets.
And in the lowest box, all sorts of beautiful packaging: bags, ropes, tags and tags, bilateral scotch, stamps and pads for them ... In the background, new notepads and texture sheets.
Boxes are over :)
4. Stellazh
On the other wall there is a wardrobe and a rack. I will not tell about the wardrobe - there are our things there. Although, something from the worker lives and there: a camera, a sewing machine, a box with blanks and cups and even a few mail boxes. And the kraft roll :)
On the closet in one box - the synthetone, in the other - the fabric, which is rarely used.
So ... what I have here ...
Let's start from left to right.
The iron lives under the chair :) I will immediately say that the ironing board lives under the bed :)
In pink stands are magazines on the interior decor.
The box below is puppet hair, the stock of the thread and my embroidery, which I already embroider for 8 years and I hope to finish :)
Lower boxes are signed
In one of the white boxes stored a photo decor. Any cute little things of different themes that I use for a photo. In the rest of the white - FIMO and fittings.
In one of the pink - everything is for mail: small boxes, postage bags, tape ... in the other - tape.
Well, open the boxes :)
This is a box with ribbons. There is also a knitwear for puppet stockings, hats, angel wings ... Here I have stored puppet shoes. Now it is over.
It lies the fittings for the assembly of jewelry. It is decomposed by containers. All containers are signed: rings, twins, locks, pins, rings, bookmarks / hairpins and so on.
Further box with FIMO. Well, everything is clear here :)
Started pieces stored like this
My favorite drawer - with the fabrics :) Why are they so little, I will tell at the end of the post.
It seems the most basic showed.
Some common plans.
At the lowest shelf of the shelving, there are boxes with pencils, a folder with drawings and paper.
In the pink bank - the stock of the threads and the roll "Cellites".
Oh yes! About the chair forgot! I really wanted him! He is bearey :) But this is a nightmare. Of course, sit the watch on it can, but it is unrealistic to work for 6-8-10 hours! The back has no support. Even no depreciation .... It hurts everything that it may be hurt ... I asked Santa Claus a big office chair :) Let them not be so mimi, but it is useful for health :)
Here, perhaps, all I wanted to show you ..
And some more tell :)
Anticipating your questions :)
1. Is there any little space for storing personal belongings (just one wardrobe)?
No, not a little :) First, I still have a big container under the bed and there, too, something lies :) And secondly, I adhere to the philosophy of minimalism. But this is the topic of another post :)
2. And I thought you had duties of materials!
I had dawn when I started to do the needlework :)
Now I am very consciously come to buy materials. I do not buy anything and I do not keep it with the thought that "but suddenly it will be useful." From time to time I spend a revision and get rid of what is already irrelevant. I am surrounded only by the necessary things with which I am pleased to work.
For example, I do not carry orange. And I have nothing orange: no fabrics, no ribbons, nor Lace :)
3. And what about creative mess, without which the artist is not an artist?
I do not share a mess on creative and not creative :) For me, everything that is not order - then the mess :) I can do something only with a good organization. It is clear that when I sew a doll, for example, on the table and fabric, and threads, and tapes, and buttons .. but I try not to get more than I need at the moment. It distracts me and creates some kind of "panic" around :)
Well, and I definitely remove everything on the places after the end of work! Those. Not when I finished a doll (it can stretch for a week), and always, when I leave the table more than half an hour.
In fact, it is simple :) is done on the machine and takes 5-10 minutes.
4. What should I do if there is no place for your own corner?
Girls, it does not happen :) It happens that there is no special desire and needs :)
If you need your place for creativity, you organize it around one chairs :)
But this is only if you really need :) If you just "would like," then it does not work :)
When we lived in another apartment (with the master's furniture and the inability to change something), my table was standing outside the door in an eight meter room, 2/3 of which took a limited bed :)
So everything is possible!
The main thing you want and remember that there will be no ideal conditions! They can be waiting for years and suffer that uncomfortable. And you can start something to do now.
And let your corner be not the same that you dreamed about. But it will be :)
And dreams come true if we love what we have at the moment :)
