Small prehistory. In the new apartment from the previous guests, we went to the inheritance kitchen corner of the 2001 release. In the kitchen, he occupied a lot of space, and we decided to remove it. However, throwing the furniture hand did not rise, the corner is made of a strong tree, the work is high-quality, factory. What to do? How to proceed?
I have plenty of free time. I flew, turned, twisted, and decided to give a corner a second chance. More precisely one of its part. Let's see what I did.
1. Shopping! The first and favorite item)
a) in the fabric store:
i. Beige leatherette, 3 meters with a width of 1.5;
II. Several meters of white fabric as lining.
b) in a construction store:
i. Mechanical construction steppeler;
II. Stopler paper clips;
III. wood veil;
IV. Brush for painting.
c) in the store of household items:
i. Poropolone with a thickness of 40 mm, 1 roll.
d) in the product:
i. Cake - as a reward for perfectly done work!
2. We disassemble the corner into composite parts. There will be a male force here. Thank you for your husband for help.
3. Remove the old upholstery from the seat and backs. I used a flat screwdriver to pick up the paper clips. Attention: with wood and paper clips, work very carefully, injuries are possible. I also removed the old foam rubber, because he was in an unsuitable condition.
4. I have a bench with a climbing seat, inside a storage box. Therefore, for the seeds, we cut a new foam rubber on a half-meter less in size than the seating width, cut off one to one for the back. I put the wooden foundation for the foam rubber, locked a pencil and cut off with a sharp knife.
5. On the floor lay white tissue, it is foaming on it and on top of a wooden base. Steppel fix the cloth at the bottom of the base. I pulled the cloth strongly enough to close the foam rubber tightly. This is what happened at this stage:
6. A small comment on the topic Stepplera. It is difficult to work with a mechanical steppeler, you need to apply a lot of effort when pressed. At first, the hand was tired, but in the day three she brought. I tried to work with an electric steppeller, hit 4 paper clips and postponed, for in a small room, the echo from Stepplera is so strong that in the ears there is a stall and the brain is shaking.
7. Now we have a leatherette. You nail a steppeler (there may be any upholstery fabric to your choice) on top of the fabric around the perimeter of the seat and back.
8. Gently tailble the edge of the upholstery and beautifully laid the corners to look more professional.
9. Wooden framework processing the verse. Initially, we apply one layer, let dry, after 12 o'clock another layer, and we are still waiting for 12 hours.
ATTENTION! On the floor, it is stuck the liner, or something waterproof! We work necessarily in gloves, as the verse is entrusted to the skin - you do not have it later! Checked for yourself!
10. After the treated wooden surfaces dried, insert the leathes in the side and front back of the bench.
11. Work is nearing a logical conclusion. Again, ask your beloved husband (good neighbor, trouble-free friend, experienced carpenter - need to emphasize), so, ask you to gather together all parts of the puzzle!

Initially, we placed the bench in the corridor at the entrance to the apartment as a banquette. But, after some time, they returned it to her rightful place - to the kitchen! In an updated form, it looks more neat and organically fits into the interior of the kitchen.
